King
Im going to give this a go, but the problem im having is that the backup fuse is not present in my mb6, so the slot is empty. Do i need to have this fuse inorder to complete the reset or shall i just performthe reset with just the ecu fuse???

I recomend before bed time just take the neg lead off and put it back on in the morning...

Do i need to have this fuse inorder to complete the reset or shall i just performthe reset with just the ecu fuse???no back up fuse means no memmory ?so you must have one or it mite have been chainged to a 10 amp .if you cant find it you can try turning your ignition on and off 21 times this also resets the ecu .then after the last time start it up and allow to idle till fan cuts in the turn it off .its as easy as that mate
