I was driving stopd at traffic light tried to put it in first and it didnt go in so switched the car off and then it went in fine. So when the car is started that when it does not go in gears. SteveMB6
is the system bleed properly?it probably is the release bearing. But i would replace the whole clutch while the gearbox is off

s11aba
know there is no noise at all when the car is started it will not go in gears at all when you turned the car off that when it will go in gears
bs_vti-s
is it not more likely that its the gearbox rather than the clutch
s11aba
but then i wouldnt go in gears at all even when the car is turned off
beastgtir
my mate had the same problem, clutch melted onto flywheel..it could have been a fake exedy clutch buddy..
s11aba
not sure if it was fake or geniune.....
beastgtir
would be the only explanation, exedy clutches are usually very good and to be honest they last a fair bit, also i havent seen you out n about in ages so imagine you haven't done very much miles on it!could be a broken spring in the clutch also, i'd be contacting the place where you got it from, or it could have been badly fitted?
