deevtec
Surely the chipped key would then stop it from starting as this all runs via the ecu!!!
mb6vti
The P72 does not come with an immobiliser - JDM cars don't have alarm/immobiliser as standard. Thats why all importers say they will fit cat 1 alarms to cars after importing them. It would be nice to have someone test a P72 in their car and get it on the dyno. mb6vti
I think Jap fuel is 100RON but we can get 99RON here. I am confident that there will not be a huge difference between 99 and 100RON. True the P72 will be mapped for 100RON fuel but running it on 99RON it should still yield close to a 10BHP increase.

mb6vti
noodels what am I supposed to be looking for in that link? I have read that link and understand Rich as mapped a mb6 but we need to see a P72 with a base GSR map with the knock sensor disabled running on an MB6. noodels
well you can see the power increase so the link shows the base map and dynoed &and this is the results with 10.0 cr =3.6hp&7ftlb total gain, so 10hp as you stated was the links reason. Si is also 10.6 CR///C4 is 10.0 CR
