  1. Thanks Dave. I have given my email so I get updated if and when they get the shipment. As for the silicone hoses can you guys then reccomend some? I don't need the whole kit just top and bottom hoses and would prefer not to have to modify them to fit.
  2. Unfortunately not Dave. Looking on Lings.com shows that they are unavailable. I also checked my local dealer who also cannot source them anymore. I have heard that the silicon ones do not provide a good seal like the rubber ones.
  3. Hey Folks, Does anyone know if you can still source the OEM rubber coolant hoses? Thanks
  4. Just to throw another option in the mix. SFS performance make MB6 radiator hoses that are a direct fit and require zero trimming.
  5. Does anyone have have links to where I can buy a MB6 radiator maybe a Nissens or other brand? ECP have EIS rads but heard they are rubbish. Thanks
  6. Top work mate - are the hoses a perfect fit as I know MB6 ones are hard to get hold of? Do you have a link to the hoses you bought?
  7. Congratulations and a nice Colour too. Never been a big fan of the M series cars. With each revision they get fatter and BMW pack in more gizmos to kill driver involvement. Still a quick car just not rewarding enough in my humble opinion. For me the one and only real M3 was and still is the E30 M3.
  8. Yeah I am sure the piping is different but I would have thought the airbox itself would be the same.

    mb6 coilovers

Ones specific for the MB6 are KW and Meister R. You can also buy EK coilovers as they are compatible.
  10. As title really I was wondering if the MB1,2 etc use the same airbox as the MB6. It looks the same and checking on Lings it looks the same.
  11. I removed mine and what a pig of a job. I had the gas disachrged from the system then removed and weighed the system. In total approx 16kg saved. I also opted to remove the evaporator box from the govebox and replace it with what ships with non AC model civics. I don't know if I am imaging things but the steering feels a little bit heavier all round and I like it this way.
  12. Why were you dissapointed? What do you call as fast? Fast in a straight line or fast round the twisty stuff? The MC2 is 1285kg with the same power output as the hatchback. It has a BHP/tonne of 130. It also has an economy orientated ECU and gearbox. Even the MB6 don't feel fast when standard. Both the MB6 and MC2 need modified before they accelerate or handle the way they should.
  13. The front konis drop the car more than the advertised 35mm. I would suggest getting progrssive springs with a rated drop of 30mm. I bought cobras but other springs like spax etc will do just fine.
  14. Dave where did you get the rear brace from and how much was it? Also will it work on the MB6?
  15. Nice Dave - congrats on the purchase. I would get rid of those rear arch rubbers. God knows they are holding nearly 11 years of dirt and crap. Perfect receipe for rust. I removed mines the day I got the car and wash the arches each time i wash the car.
