you will have a tiny leak somewhere, 1 litre a week over 300 miles means a very small leak. try a bit of dye in the coolant then run the engine for half hour or so. the leaking bit will get hot expand and leak,

I have the same problem, doesnt seem to be a leak anywhere, the reservoir empties out in about 2 weeks but there always seems to be coolant in the radiator, even if it doesnt get topped up in a long time, no temp issues at all, sits fine even when hooning

Yes.....

Could be a slightly leak rad mate. Hard to spot too. Get some RadWeld type stuff in there to seal off any tiny cracks!

Hate the stuff, but if you are changing the rad at a later date, it's worth a try!

Head gasket I say.

I had a different problem but I'm sure it will be the head gasket if you have tried everything else.

Here is the link to my reply on a different thread.

Project :)

Stiff test been done mate. Very doubtful the gasket is gone. No water in oil, and no gasses in coolant.
