civicturbo79 Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 Not blowing water out of anywhere mate....When I drive it hard, even properly pounding it the temp stays normal..As I said the oil is fine, as such I doubted it was the head gasket.. And with the above being ok, I guess the head gasket must be ok?Could be completely wrong though, as my car knowledge is limited....When the headgaskets go on the b series engine they never mix oil and water , they just use water and put pressure into the cooling system , take the car to a garage and get the expansion bottle sniff tested it will answer the question straight away . Anything else that I can check?not really , its more about what the car is doing rather than checking stuff . if the system is not leaking then the engine has to be burning it ,its as simple as that .
