johngreen537 Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Blue smoke in vtec, indicates either, a little bit too much oil (not great really) or valve stem seals are worn (Again, not good)TBH, I'd be walking, the stem seals job will set you back a good few hundred quid, of it's overfilled to the point of blue smoke puffing, then it's not been carefully looked after. johngreen537 Posted January 30, 2012 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Not uncommon with decat's mate, given Honda's burn oil in VTEC, the cat normally dissipates a tiny amount when it's burned off.I'd blip the throttle at standstill, watch for small puffs then.
