SteveJG
Hi I bought a well looked after Civic Aerodeck and I am getting quite a noise from the rear,so changed the bearings, noise still there.Any ideas, as new bearings should have cured it. WilkesyMB6
What type of noise is it? Any chance of a video?
SteveJG
hi, to me it sounds just like a worn bearing rumble/roar.I have read articles of other people having the same problem with this model, tyre roar on one reply was suggested, recommending fitting Michelin tyres but I'm not conviced about that one.I have tried driving a friends car (hatch back) and no noise. SteveJG
Hi I changed both rear wheel bearings for new Lucas ones ,then swapped one back for the old one ,no difference, getting quite good at swapping them, the noise does increase with speed.ill try swapping tyres front to rear next as there a different make.
