RaspberryPi based Media centre.

Just wondering if it is possible to use a raspberryPI to hook into the ecu of a civic aerodeck to pick up realtime info from from the ecu like rpm and oil pressure and such to use the PI as a kind of realtime display of what's going on in the engine bay... I am in the process of binning the stock radio and fitting the pi as a media centre. So if anyone knows if I can get a double din centre console I would appreciate it. And if anyone happens to know of any software to interpret the obd2 data.

I'm not no, but I'm very familiar with the hardware.

Been using gp2x, Pandora, and various android bits n bobs for donkeys.

pi is good bit of kit for 20 quid. May treat myself and have a play.

yeah looks good, i notice a few people are using a port of the original XBMC.

i got a nice setup for streaming using xbox 360s around the house. works really well once youget your head around what works withit.

its very fussy about how mkvs are compiled .

I dont even use my xbox lol, since i have moved its still boxed up!

Eventually i want to be able to stream to ever device i have, so this is the main thing i need to get sorted. I just get frustrated with Linux as im new to it and i keep thinking its DOS lol
