JessieJames
HiI was part way through fitting rear shocks and lowering springs, when the LCA outer bolt snapped. It's the one through the trailing arm, next to the lower shocker bolt. I can't get the snapped part out of the LCA / trailing arm. Is the nut on the other end of the bolt a captive nut? I've gone at it with a grinder, but it won't come off. Tried hammering it through, but it won't come through. I'm guessing the bolt is seized into the LCA bush. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

JessieJames
HiThanks for the replies. Called it a day last night and nursed it to work with a broken bolt :/. Got it sorted today, cut the rest of the nut off and ground it all back nice and clean, then had to take the whole arm off and put it in the vice. Gave the broken bolt some stick with a hammer and drift and eventually got it out, bush intact . Then got the rest of the shocks and springs fitted, very pleased
KiNK43
Well done for that. I had same problem. Bit of a mare.took arm off, took inside and drilled the rest of the bolt out and ran a tap through it
