ammarbm
That looks brilliant mate...love how fly eye transforms the look completely...did you manage to avoid curves completely..I had a couple near the indicator I couldn't avoid completely
Roylewaa
I tried to tuck it behind the headlight all the way round but it wouldn't near the indicators so I cut around with a craft knife to the contour of the headlight, hoping it would be ok, however as said about the wet has got behind and it's starting to lift:( going to have to figure out how to get it stuck back down before it gets any worse
ammarbm
Hmm mine is curving a little at the end also as I was unable to tuck it behind completely...you reckon glue can solve that?
Mr Brown
i did remove mine to do them and i still have no lift or bubble The rears though are a little now and when i first did them i missed an edge when i degreased them before i filmed them and that started lifting so i dabbed a few blobs of stupid glue and they never lifted again.. jonnygt
Right the Missus has been wrapping some trim for me, now I wasint sure on the red to begin with but I must say when done it looks rather dapperLooking for some opinions on wether to go for it and fit it in the car, being red I think its a bit different from the usual black, the wife has proper got the hang of it now, its great to watch, kind of turns me on in a kind of weird petrol headed way I want to wrap mine instead of it being 'wood' looking. How easy is it to remove? And how i get it out? The long bit that goes across the dash
Roylewaa
Easy mate, take the dash clocks surround out first, then you can easily get your fingers and pull the long piece out, it's just held in by metal clipsTheyres a few how to's how to do it aswell
Roylewaa
Gave the old girl a mini service today, new oil and filters ready for winter, I've already changed the coolant when I did the stat Got Mobil super 10w 40 semi synthetic 5 litres for £22.39 which wasint to badOnly thing I wasint 100% on was using a unipart oil filter, which was huge, because I already had it and couldn't wait for a gen one:)I did ponder on magnatec but had loads of bother with top end tappage on previous cars
Mr Brown
Mini Service.. Good call mate i checked the levels on the MB6 earlier all good and it appears to have been serviced very recently as fluids are as new and as my MB3 uses too much oil i buy cheap stuff for her
