Roylewaa
As title, since changing my thermostat I've had a bubbling and gurgling sound coming from the heater matrix on mainly cold startingI'm guessing theyres still some air in there from the stat change, as it didn't do this beforeIs they're a good method of getting this air out without to much hassle?Coolant is pretty much up to the neck inside the rad and expansion tank is on the max, levels have not changed since the stat was changed about a month ago, temp gets up to just below half now and stays there no matter what which points that it was originally the stat at fault before. heaters are also nice and hot Cheers for any advice:)
marko
Take the cap off the expansion tank and just let the car run for a bit should get the bubbles out eventually
simpo
I would take the rad cap off and run it

KiNK43
Also, Obviously keep heater set to hot then motivate the air to move with a bit of squeezing of the hoses going into matrix.
