Plans for the VTi-S: Updated!

 

Jobs done so far:

 

Fit an actual VTi-S Gearknob.
New thermostat.
Fix drivers seat recliner.
Replace clock bulb.
Fit new headunit.

Replace missing rubber tray from center console.
Replace dimmer switch. (Thanks Jake!)
Replace hazard warning switch (that I broke).
Replace drivers door window regulator.
Replace rear view mirror.
Replace parcel shelf.

Repaired center heater vent.

Replace headlining.

Replace tailgate seal.

Replace backbox.

Replaced distributor. (Thanks Phil for lending me your spare!)

Replace damaged fog light. 

Repaired Headlight washers

 

Jobs still to do:

Replace front drop links.
Replace RTA bushes.
De-chrome front grill and rear chrome strip.
Fit clear side repeaters (Thanks Nick!)
Replace rear tyres.
Replace damaged O/S wing mirror.(Got dibs on Phil's  :) )

Dash switch bulbs x3 need replacing.

 

Mods fitted:

 

DAB Headunit.

MGZS 180 ARB.

De-chromed, de-tangoed headlights.

Leather gaiter (Type R style)

Honda metal gearknob (Type R style)

DC2 Momo SRS steering wheel  8-)

 

 

List is getting quite small! Soon be buying some more goodies when funds allow!

Yeah can't believe how much I've had to do in TLC already! But I kind of knew there'd be a few things to sort before the fun bit began! Just wasn't expecting as much as that!

Loads of bits done and all in a couple of months too, jobs left are not too bad, just need ramp access really for DL's and RTSA bushes.

 

DL wouldnt be too bad on the ground..

 

But I have heard of ppl having horror stories when it comes to the RTA bushes

I think to keep it simple I'd get my brother to do those jobs at the same time on a ramp if/when he can! Need them doing before MOT time along with rear tires but I've got a bit of time yet! Be nice to have a knock free drive though! :lol:

Wow! they are some lists...... Christ it feels better knowing we all seem to have 'need a new one of these' disease, I got my local garage to do the RTA bushes, was really bouncy at first now its like the olden days, saying that I had the car 3 months now so its all learning, to quote (without being able to)
