skymera
My personal view is the potential gains to potential risk ratio. You may get better gains from a long arm induction but also increased risk of sucking up some H2O. I'll stick with a short arm for now, suits me fine. I'm sure with correct heat wrapping and shielding the heatsoak can be managed. What's people's opinion on long arms I got one on mine but I have now spit it and put the filter back in the engine bay and think it feels abit more responsive! Use to have one on my old one and thought it was sh1t Unless you have an actual method of testing, most things like that are generally placebo. Example, people who fit a big bore to their 1.1 Saxo and think it's gained 15HP. All noise eh.

Krzys
There was a thread on here, I think, he tested a few intakes on his car on a RR and the Integra (dc2) airbox came out top. (and was the reason I went for one over anything else)Plus the car doesn't drone as bad vs an open filter on a run!
Grant
Plus the car doesn't drone as bad vs an open filter on a run!In fairness mine doesn't drone really. Unless your sitting at a ton. Which of course is illegal.
Krzys
Unless you have a f**king noisy JapSpeed 4-1 My EK was really bad at 70 for it, decat, Spoon b-pipe and Spoon backbox, 60 was livable and so was 80 but that's not allowed!
Krzys
Mine isn't that bad, just turn the stereo up a bit There is that! Becca was pretty good on a run with the stainless cat-back and ITR airbox! Louder with a full car but it isn't often that I travel long distance with more than just myself!
