skymera
Hi I received my Heko wind deflectors today for my MB6. I've had (previously owned) wind deflectors before which just stuck on. The Heko ones come with 4 metal clips and some crude diagram of what I;m meant to do with them. But I couldn't figure it out, anyone have some pics? Also, the rears fit nicely but the fronts seem so tight that the window has trouble doing up and there's a 10mm gap drivers' side. Thanks
simpo
They fit inside the window rubber then u put the metal clips up inside the rubber to stop them coming out
Hakosuka
Which ones did you buy? Can you supply me with a code or a link please?
Hakosuka
Thanks, I wanted to buy these, but just to be sure. Maybe we should tell the Heko guys, they actually have them for MB and MC civics to, because it seems like they don't know that it's the same body I will buy and send them some pics fitted
DAVEMB2
I never bothered with the metal clips with mine or the wife's car and been fine .
Hakosuka
Don't they fall out without the clips? I think the main point of clips is that they keep the visors away from the glass when going up? Great if it works for you though, I have to try
Krzys
I also never bothered with the clips and didn't have any problems with them falling out
skymera
Rears are good Fronts are still very snug and the window mechanisms don't like it too much. May need to soften the rubber!
Krzys
Yeah they're not perfect by any means but they're cheap and sit in the runner channel where the glass is meant to be! Think the rears don't suffer as most of the time the windows are left up whereas the fronts move more!
