onejdmcivic1984
Swapped this for my Ford Focus (plus cash) with a local guy. He couldnt get on with the Honda and I couldnt get on with the Ford so the swap was a ideal solution! Heres some pics HE took (I havent taken any that id call my photos until more works been done to it ) The bodywork is pretty tidy bar the scuff on the back bumper and tiny rust spots and the high mileage is pretty offputting but FULL service history has swayed me away from that mindset! Good starter base me thinks and def more comfortable than my previous jap cars - Ford has it licked on comfort, refinement and ride quality and more fun to drive I hate to state - but this projet is about injecting some fun into the car - and making it less OAP-spec - more my spec! philgor
Nice Car you have got there, you have also got the optional extra fog lamps which are rare aswell. What plans do you have for it then?

onejdmcivic1984
Didnt know the foglights were rare - thought theyre common as muck on SE models?Well nothing extensive like an engine swap but heres my plans for the next few months:- using toothpaste method/alternative to spring some life into the headlight lenses- respraying all the fake wood in silver - started on 3 pieces already and currently waiting for primer to dry properly before lightly sanding them down ready for base coat- purchasing red stitched leather gaitors for handbrake and gear surround- purchasing skunk2 gearknob- replacing Kenwood head unit with Sony one (hate silver headunits lol)- removal of SRS light on dashboard- removal of rust spots on carThe main modifications are as follows:- lowering of civic via mg zs 180 suspension with eibach lowering springs- mg zs front and rear ARB- upper strut brace at the front- bolt on subtle backbox - i had a US type one which was powdercoated black - it was very oem but the tip was an inch or so bigger but looked very stealthy on my civic.i will get my local turbo specialists to fabricate one for me - removal of induction kit possibly and cold air feed (unknown make) and putting normal airbox on- VTI Blade Wheels in Gun Metal (although White RH wheels looked cool - ones I've seen are white with red writing around the allow - look similar to wrc wheels of old)- Wind deflectors- JDM decals - I love stickers on the car windows but no sticker bombing lol
