ive never used copper grease on my brakes as i hear the copper can interfere with the ABS sensors and i hate it when my ABS interferes with my braking, all this is just another reason not to put copper grease anywhere really

Fair nuff I just keep seeing threads like this http://www.bikersoracle.com/vfr/forum/archive/index.php?t-44119.html

Having read that I've just read this which seems to support what those people are saying and this is from the place who will be refurbishing my callipers.

Interesting stuff, perhaps copper grease isn't such a good idea. :(

Wow that's really good acctually, might need to get them to do mine, however when it decides to stop raining im going to attack that one caliper with grease as a temporary fix

Yeah I thought so too! Cheaper than buying replacements and it means not gagging about with pattern parts etc and they give a two year function guarantee!
