onejdmcivic1984
Had a MOT a few months back and the only advisory on the sheet was 'Nearside Wheel Bearing showing signs of play'Recently I've noticed a screech which is intermittant resounding from a wheel. What is required to fix said problem above and is it related to the noise coming from the wheel.I start my new job in Domiciliary Care and will be driving a lot so wanna make sure car us safe to use
Krzys
Intermittent how? General driving? Under braking? Cornering? (Left? Right) Few things I would check, jack the car up and see how much play is in the offending wheel when you wobble it holding at 12 and 6/9 and 3 o'clock positions with your hands. Might be worth taking the wheel off and seeing what state the pads are in.
onejdmcivic1984
Hmmm I will check but I think the steering is off slightly. I assumed it was alignment but it wasn't
Krzys
I meant car wheel not steering wheel
