beaniexx Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 sounds crap mate as does not ignite while inlet valves still open, will ignite on compression so would not matter where tip is facing.dont personally think its possible to even tell a 1 bhp increase as i bet if you did the same car say 10 times in a row on rolling road i bet not every result would be dead same ie 197.8bhp on all 10 times??? johngreen537 Posted August 10, 2011 Share Posted August 10, 2011 X2, sounds bullsh!t to me too.Air and fuel mixture, add spark and you get bang.The rotational position of the spark plug will make no odds, the only difference I can see in that situation making a difference is the correct torque of the plug itself.If it was too loose slightly, then compression would be a tiny bit down, then tightening it up, just puts it where it should be.
