Official units of Civic MB MC VTI-S
joaodfilipe replied to joaodfilipe's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
Thanks for your help Dave π This is atually a big help. It's sad there's no oficial numbers from Honda but it will surely be around the few hundred. Just something it wasn't really clarified from your answer, were these VTiS models released exclusively the UK? I can only find genuine VTiS a right side steering wheel. All the ones I found outside the UK are in colors different from the pirate black. As for the unique parts, I'll try to find a good aluminium gear knob and a drivers side floor, which will be almost impossible probably π- 2 replies

Hello guys π As I already mentioned in a previous topic, I have been building a "fake" Aerodeck VTI-S and I would like to know a bit more about this variant. For the MB6 VTI-S I found that 500 units were released around the world, is this number correct? π€ Now, to answer my questions: 1) I couldn't found any official information about the number of MC2 VTI-S units that were released, does this information even exist? 2) From all these units, were all released in the UK or were also available at some other countries? 3) From the extra parts available for the VTI-S are all of those exclusive for that model or could some be selected on an standard VTI? I would assume the mats and the aluminum gear knob are exclusive on the VTI-S model, but what about the lips and mid spoiler? Could these be purchase as extra on a standard VTI? Because I see a lot of wagons that are not Pirate Black, so those should not be genuine VTI-S π€

Great, that means I am okay with the dash trims already. Hoping to find a badge and some mats in the meantime π€Just ping me if you want to get rid of that badge.

Hi Dave, thank you so much for your help. It was really helpful π I don't know what you mean about "R reg" but those photos were just examples of the parts I am looking for, not the actual car. What should be considered as "the later ones"? π The dash trims from the previous photo are the correct for a VTiS already? If that's the case, I would probably leave them as they are, I don't have any special preference for the fake carbon. From the remaining additions you listed, I will try to find the badge, the mats and the rear mid spoiler. The wheels and the gear knob I'll want something different, but it will already be close to an original VTiS with the remaining parts. As for the VTiS boot badge, I would be appreciated if you can let it got. Just ping me again if we are interested, please π

Hello everyone, I am trying to convert my Aerodeck MC2 VTI to a "replica" VTI-S, as close as possible to an original one π I already have some exterior parts, front/rear lips and side skirts. The fanblade rims and the aluminium gear knob, I'll replace for something different, because I don't really like those. Although, I am still missing a VTI-S rear badge, the original mats and the rear mid spoiler. Does anyone know where I can find these? Or someone willing to sell them? Any other important differences from a VTI that I should consider? π€ All MC2 VTI-S versions were released with fake carbon dash trims or only marble? This is the dash trims I have right now, are these similar to the ones available in VTI-S versions? Thanks for your help! π
