  1. yeah, so true. Loved the mb6 to bits personally
  2. Hi Gregor! Thanks for that mate, good to see members coming together at times like that Nice idea for the homepage, never thought of that! I'll see What I can do, might be a bit tricky but will give it bash As you said, was one of the best and most well known mb6's (at least in scotland anyways)
  3. Hi there! If your new here, post a little bit up in the newbies section introducing yourself We're a friendly bunch here! Pics of cars entrered into car of the month can be found in the projects section. Click HERE to view them
  4. unfortunately, Mark (Del) vti-s got written off today. Check out the post in the general section
  5. Ok guys, I'm gonna give the G some competition lol This will be a kinda strange entry, as the mb in question has sadly died. I'm gonna suggest Dels VTi-S, as this was for sure my favourite mb6 of all time. Would also be a nice little tribute to her (Betsy) if she won..........kinda going out on a high So, i vote for Dels (don't worry G, I'm voting for yours next time around without fail!)
  6. Your welcome! Any info you need on MB's will be on this site somewhere, and if it isn't there already, a member will usually have the answer
  7. Thats ok mate, just register it on his behalf
  8. If you own a VTi-S, then you are lucky! Only 500 of these were built, and today they're becoming a rare site indeed. This section has been created as a register for these models, after a suggestion from one of our members, chrisvtis. We thought this an excellent way of finding out how many of these survive today. So, if you own one, then you can add it to our register here. First of all, put down your username, area (roughly obviously) and part of your registration number (SEE THE EXAMPLE BELOW 1.Dave- Central Scotland- V*** DMT 2. 3. Just copy and paste the following post, adding your details as above, then click the "VTi-S mb6's currently registered" bit
  9. Cheers G! lol Me being trend setter with the white bunnet,it's a nap I'll win !!
  10. lol, this is looking like a one horse race!! Gregor, get the wax out and get started! The rest of you, give us a few more entries!! lol
  11. Im not sure..........looks like its gonna be a close one! lmao Any other entries guys?
  12. Well, I have to agree, so i'm gonna suggest G-unit aswell
  13. Ok guys, start firing in the cars you think worthy of next months title.
  14. i'm gonna remove mine once the vti spoiler is on, good to know what to bung the holes in the window with, id been wondering what to use! The light is still visible on mine with the present spoiler, depending what angle your at. If sat behind in another car, you can see it, but the spoiler is in the way a bit.
  15. lol correct! it's me! I havent had time to get logged in there this week mate, so sorry for that. I'll have the pics up for you to see the spoiler tomorrow Just to confirm tho, does yours already have a boot spoiler? Not too sure if you have one that keeps failing the mot because of the third brake light issue, or if the mot guy told you it would fail? TBH, id go to a different mot station either way, as its something i've never heard of before!!. Just need to make sure im not going to sell you the same spoiler that you may already have
  16. LOL Can sympathise there mate, i used tp restore the classics too........Mk 3 cortinas to be exact (1970-1976 models) ! money pits!!
  17. The switches should be fine, but beware to check the harness, as alot of the rovers used BMW wiring connectors and plugs, so they wont fit the plugs/sockets in the mb's. The centre console i got for my MA came from a rover, and although the window switched looked identical, they had to be changed for honda ones, as the conectors were totally different. Aso, afaik, the plugs that go to the fogs are different too. This is based on what ive found with the later rovers (1999 onwards) it may be different on early ones. Hope this helps
  18. Thats the fun part of owning them, or so im told lmao
  19. just takes time .................and money! lol. Mines is a long way off from being finished though...........not even lowered her yet! Gonna get all the paintwork sorted first then may get it lowered. Might need a new exhaust before then though
  20. lol ditto! If you need help when fitting, gimme a shout. I just fitted them to my MA8 was a bitch of a job as the wiring was slightly different, but yours being an mb it should be straight forward Not sure if honda sell the harness seperately though.
  21. They were available last year mate, as crazzzydawn got a set for her aerodeck. They were around £280 as far as i can remember, that was fitted price. That was everything, fogs, surrounds, harness's switches, relays the lot Think they will still be available
  22. And Car Of The Month July 09 winner is...............BLAMES Well done mate! You car will be now be featured on the website throughout july!
