Not done much to her for ages, so thought id better get posting! Ok, today I fitted the new front brake pads, pretty straight forward job, but why is always the case when i do the pads, the blooming sliders on the caliper are always buggered! Did the N/S, they went on fine, sliders working perfect. went to drivers side.....flippin nightmare! Sliders were seized up solid! managed to eventually get them free'd off, which im happy about cos normally they have to be replaced. Which means buyin the complete caliper bracket kit as honda wont sell the sliders seperate. Anyways, got it back together, and brakes are superb now! did the 50mile bed in, and now it pulls up brilliantly! Also got the outer cv joint rubber boots replaced, as they had split. Got the garage to do them tho going to get the bonnet, front bumper, rear bumper and door mirrors prepped next week ready to get them into paint. Also got the insides of the alloys cleaned while they were off, so thats another job done Watch this space.......the painting will be starting soon

the clear/crystal ones in your pic look like Late rover 400/45. They changed them very late on, think it coincided with the changeover to bmw wiring connectors etc. Best bet is to take your original into scrappy with you to make sur you get the right ones. If buying A/M ones, explain that you only want the rover ones if it's for the early 400. You can point them to this site if they refuse to believe you that there are differences mate Send company the pics aswell, so they have something to go by too Or find an accord, these fit ours too

I can confirm MB and MC civics use exactly the same side indicators guys They also fit the MA civics. Only Rover changed them between models/years

love those crystal indicators mate, nice change to the usual clear ones. That exhaust looks perfect, just the right size, not too ott......and looks to fit perfect aswell. love it

Good progress mate. You did a good job spaying the console, wouldnt know it had been grey! You notice a difference in noise with the resonator out lol..........Mines makes nice deep sound from about 2500 rpm through to about 4500/5000rpm. Cheap effective mod! Is the K&N panel filter making any difference? thought about that for mine
