  1. As soon as I can I will, it's just getting the cat off in the first place aha
  2. I wish it was that simple haha if I could get the cat off I would, but basically the boltd "in typical Honda fashion" have corroded away and the only way that they will come off so i've been told is by using oxy acetylene or something to heat up the bolts to then remove them.
  3. Just been to the car and taken 2 pictures. By the looks of it both of the top mounts seem to sit at the same angle in the car itself, so I am rather puzzled by it is lower on the one side. Driver's side rear. Passenger side rear.
  4. Hey all, I fitted a set of lowering springs to the rear of the car about 2 months ago but i've noticed that the driver's side sits at least an inch lower than the passenger side. Now the only thing I can see different in the two is that i've fitted the passenger side shock the other way around but it fits in fine, I don't see how this would make a difference though. Could someone highlight at all if possible? Here are 2 pictures showing the difference. This is the lower driver's side. This is the higher passenger's side. Any help in regards to this would be great thanks guys.
  5. Thanks for the info noodles. As the entire exhaust system is a bit knackered i'll be looking to change it all in one go. I think my main concern is the mb6 cat lining up with the manifold aha EDIT: One thing I would also like to ask, can anyone explain why my cat is rattling? I can't tell whether it's the heat shield of the honeycomb inside of it. It only rattles when it's been idling for a little while or goes in a certain rev range.
  6. I know this may have already been covered but I couldn't find anything. Will the cat, centre section and back box from an MB6 fit an MB2? Only reason I ask as my centre section and back box have rather large holes in them thanks to the roads up here and my cat is making the most god awful rattling sound ever. Now the problem also is the bolts on the cat are apparently seized to hind hell and will only come away from the centre section by using oxysetalyn *no idea of the spelling* but not many placed here deal with that. So if I was to go to a scrappy and find an MB6 would the full exhaust fit?

  8. I just want BLACK carpet if i'm completely honest, but I have no idea who to turn to or how i'd go about doing it. I'd prefer to do it myself as I hate paying someone to do a job that I could learn how, sounds stupid I know. I'll have to get some youtube videos on the go
  9. F*ck xD There was me someone in the Rover world would care enough haha Oh well
  10. I meant what model Rovert 400 was it from xD I was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to google it but I will now Edit: Can't even seem to find any info on that particular model either O.o
  11. Sounds mental but I desperately want that carpet! What model rover was it from so I can try and track one down?
  12. What's the ATR headlight mod dude? I wouldn't mind knowing a little more about that =] Car is looking awesome and the transformation is great.
  13. I'd love to be able to get RCL for my MB =[ It's finding one with the IR reciever and the keyfob for cheap though. Yeah dude it's actually really easy. The circular black box by the interior light just gets replaced with the new one and the matching keyfob. Jobs a good'un =]
  14. I've been looking at rota grid v's lately too! Absolutely awesome wheel. I think i'd end up going for the 15x7 though in black with a polish lip Just to show what 15x8's are like on an MB, I used to have a set of Schmidt Modern Lines in 15x8 et+25. Just a test fit when I had them at the standard ride height. They are about an inch or so wider than the arch Standard ride height. Here is a photoshop of what the car would have looked like if I didn't sell them and bought coilovers. I say go for it man and do the arch work. The finish will be awesome.
  15. That looks absolutely incredible. You've done quite a lot to this little beauty in such a short amount of time =] You definitely need a nice new set of seats though
  16. Hmm i'll try and give it a go myself if I can get a few days off aha What's weird is the fact that when I let my foot off the accelerator or the brake, the noise is there when the wheel is rotating. When cornering slowly it's sometimes not there although I will then get a clicking sound from my right side CV. I'm not too sure if it's the joint on it's way out or if the mechanics that did my CV boot didn't fit it properly. It wouldn't surprise me tbh.
  17. Just watched a youtube guide and it does seem a like a fair bit of work. How much did it cost you for the ball joint and have it fitted? The revs and power issues have literally come on over the last few days. It couldn't have something to do with the injector cleaner I put in my petrol last week could it? If so that's going to really p**s me off xD @Dave. How long do you think it'll take to do? I haven't got all the "correct" tools like an impact hammer etc, but I can certainly make do.
  18. Thanks for that Wilkesy! As long as it's dry tomorrow i'll get me and my dad to have a look at her and find out if it is the ball joint. Since I prefer to do everything myself, any advise on tackling the ball joint?
  19. The title sounds extremely desperate aha Well i'm having yet another issue with my car. Potentially fixed the leak so that should be ok but something new has come up. I am hearing a creaking/moaning noise coming from the front driver's side. When I removed the wheel the other day the top part of the plate behind the disk was stupidly felixble. I mean if I had a set of pliars I could have pulled it off as it was bending all over. I managed to do what I could but I can't pinpoint of that's the source of the noise or not. Also my engine revs and speed seem to be out compared to say 1 month ago. When I was in 3rd and at 30mph, the revs would sit at 3krpm. Now in 3rd and at 3omph, the revs sit at 3.5krpm. Is this being caused by my clutch or something else? I have been noticing a slight dip in performance since this has been happening. Sorry to put this in the lounge but since I have a day off tomorrow, if I can get an answer i'll fix what I can. Thanks very much in advance guys. Gaz.
  20. I hit 140k yesterday while driving to Dawlish! Sadly I think the old girl might be getting changed soon =[
  21. just under 134k here on a T 99 ;] Having it's first service since i've owned it on saturday. That's nearly 15k miles with no service O_O New front brakes, filters and oil :3
  22. I was umming and arghing when I first saw it. But i've just fallen in love with it. Just something about the shape, looks very "transformers" to me so I love it aha Have you ever thought of an EP3 steering wheel? Where did you get your carbon wrap from btw? I can't remember if you've mentioned it.

  24. Have you thought about trying to wrap the key in carbon? I mean the black rubber bit btw You could also get creative and do the custom make an insert "H" for the steering wheel wrapped in carbon. ;] I'm full of ideas lol Dave i've changed my mind on the S2000 steering wheel. I've seen a gorgeous looking Deep Corn Nardi steering wheel. Would look absolutely nuts in an MB. Might get it for my birthday present next month if money permits it Here it is.
