  1. Mimms at Santa Pod today. Didn't take many pics unfortunately, too busy chilling.

Nice day tho. Not many m's on the scene. But a few nice ones for sure.

Car seemed to get plenty of attention. Lots of people having a good nosey around it.

Yeah, I didn't even know it was there until it popped up as somewhere to get tyres fitted on black circles or something. I think I'll be getting my cams done there (if I ever get it sorted...)

If not sell them to me :)

Ok ill have that in mind cause i already changed one with rubber and got busted in no time and i dont like the look of it has less rubber than the one the car had originally.

Removing is a pain thats for sure have to cut the sleeve out and put it back in after was even harder...cause i dont have a press but its doable.

Are this ones you re telling about?

I see you have pu ones, do they last?is the car too stiffer for daily drive?

I am looking at these wich seem similar to oem, they have part number 51810SH3003, says 40mm diameter and 12mm i ner diameter unfortunetly doesn sau nothing about lenght..

    Thanks mate

Yes they last and personally don't notice any difference to ride quality.

I would go with a full Pu bush like the ones on mine as there really easy to fit yourself. No press required.

You will find it easier looking for eg/dc2 parts. I will try find a link..

LOL nope, DD has been busy helping us improve the garden....transported 13 slabs (heavy duty thick ones too, not the usual B&Q cheapies!) in her boot.

Did make the handling...errrr..interesting in the high winds we had! Just shows how bloody great practical cars these decks really are though, although have to say I won't be putting that many in her again. think that was probably the max weight she's ever had/ever will have in her.

Oh, and she's filthy from a weekend on our roads that are covered in some of the s**ttiest salt known to mankind, god knows whats in it but it makes one hell of a mess of the cars. Don't worry though, after she was unloaded, she was straight in for a bath! Now all nice and clean and shiney again.

Bleedin el Dave go easy on the old gal!!!

I did a few runs with a load of block paving in tubs' boot once. Not sure the rear suspension was ever the same again

Can't wait for the salt to feck off so I can get the HUD meister out again.

I'm getting ready for the sun. Got couple little jobs to do tomorrow. Then alignment and Mot on Thurs. Get ready for some better weather.

Looks great mate, especially with the new head unit.  Whats it like in the back? All seating or could you use it as a mini camper?

There either 7 or 8 seater. Back row folds away. Middle row can either turn round or remove completely. They all fold down to a "bed". Be a bit lumpy but do the job I guess.

But people do convert them into campers yeah.
