Did a search on my wheels, the closet i can is the ATS multispoke rim, they are almost the same apart the bulge by the stud holes where the centre cap would screw in, mine must be replicas hmm...
-
I cant see what brand they are as the paint is too thick on top. Intstalled my new bassface front speakers today and won a mint alpine headunit on ebay that might come by the end of the week. More exciting news, got a interview at Mazak in worcester on friday, will be a big move for me and could bring a whole host of change & gd things.

Its getting lower no question but i want a gd balance, i want all corners to be at the correct chamber & toe for the best grip. Rolling the arches is easy enough if needed. Anyone ever put bolt on bubble arches ?
-
Wheels finally turned up! 15x7j urm bit more aggressive than i wanted, i was hoping to fit 225 which would be over wide tyres but at this rate ill have to fit normal tyres and roll the arches lol What u guys think ?
-
oh the other tie rod turned up so i can do the steering rack soon
-
i measured it tho and the cable was the right length so it could be the passenger side that is wrong ? Anyway i decided to take the new handbrake cables back and get new front discs & pads as mine are bit shot. So far the power wise its bad u know, 2nd gear really pulls well, ive looked at threads on here about power gains, it would be just easier to get a b18 lol
-
yeap in a mb3 now, urm i wouldnt know how to 'pull the code' guys, can i do it or do i need the use of a dianostic machine ? I read a few forum posts about it coming on but not affecting the actual abs system but id like to sort it out.
-
Right boys, i drove me daily 15miles to a work estate no probs, after i left i noticed the abs light on, so when i got some traffic lights 5 mins later i turned her off & on again and pumped the pedal and after a min it went ?? Only thing ive touched was the rear caliper yesterday, maybe some air in the system ?
-
haha yeap, not sure its original as it only has MW & LW radio :s i wish i could have been in at the passenger seat was epic to see!
-
Had a look at the handbrake again, for some reason the drivers side cable is longer than the other side, i checked the new cable and its the same length, bit confused what is wrong there ? Also took the old back box off to see what it sounded like, like an old banger racer lol Then i remembered i had this in the garage, yay or nay ??

Will have to see at japfest next year

-
come on tom my arms arent that long Bled the clutch slave unit, all i can say IT CAME OUT LIKE LIQUID POO! lol Popped into work to see if any goodies came in and yay 3 large packages!!
-
This is true as i had them on my vtis, tho slightly used i only paid 500 for them! Just changed the sump gasket, wasnt to messy, clean out the oil pick up, a few fragments in there not bad and the oil gasket was a pain to peel off. Removed the downpipe bracket as it has broken off and was just in the way lol Just got the handbrake cables to do today, i think i might bleed the clutch slave cylinder as the pedal is really light atm..
-
Tackled the jimny earlier, decided to gamble and drain the oil and remove the prop shaft, the oil was quite grey and there was about 3mm of small chunks to the magnetic drain plug, not good but i carried on to discover the prop shaft was female i couldnt put the oil in there So i thought oh nooo im gunna have to pull the gearbox which is a real pain but THEN i spotted a bit black pipe on the top of the gearbox, it was a blanked off breather pipe yay Managed to get the new oil in but i better buy another box soon for when it goes, it could be years or 2 months dunno such a pain!
-
Drove her all the way to bournemouth today, didnt miss a beat! Took 2 hours each way and only used 1/4 of a tank so gd on fuel Picked up the sump gasket and some oil, popping into work to see if any goodies have come in, as for the wheels, the courier didnt turn up yesterday but picked up today at around 1 but no drop off today, bit useless this company. I dont know if i should get ebay mega tastic coilovers, id rather have meister's but their so expensive!
-
Really frustrating, ive started messaging someone else now
-
Basically sent a message to this guy (jdm_powerparts) on ebay breaking an mb6, about getting rear anti roll bar brackets, we agreed a price and now i cant get answer from him about sorting payment & postage. Anyone know this guy ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BREAKING-73K-Honda-Civic-MB6-VTI-S-B18C4-S9B-LSD-Rear-Splitter-Big-Brakes-/181780023492?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a52ef08c4

Hondans' Slightly more civilised B18 MB3
VTISmichael replied to hondan's topic in Honda Civic MA/MB/MC
mine had been garaged all its life, no rot or rust at all, put newer cars to shame! bought it for £440, i love the shape and retro rep u get but parts were such a pain and it really needed a h22 & s**t loads of upgrades, i ended up cutting the springs as there was no coilovers for it. -
Also ordered the mg zs front arb, picked up new handbrake cables, i had a look underneth the engine as i noticed a drip when i bought it, got a leak, i think its the sump gasket, getting new one tomorrow hopefully. Gives me a chance to clean the oil pick up too, also going to order a new steering rack and tie rods! Sorting out the courier for the wheels now Oh found my engine code - D15Z8 I dont know if thats gd or bad lol

Well it sold, had a mad day, at one point a had 4 ppl coming to see it including some snobby women who thought viewing the car at the same time as someone else was ok idea!? anyway he said he was a cash buyer, turned up on bike and liked it from the start! agreed on price that was £30 less which suits me!
