  1. they are, he rang me and he said his camera was broke on his phone but the the civic across the road has them fitted ? Hmm should be fine but ill just sell them on if too wide Should get them maybe at the weekend..
  2. they could look so gd indeed, he doesnt seem to know what the offset is, he just said its for a mk2 golf lol ive told him to look on the back of them and hopefully he can reply with an anwser..
  3. Thats gd, ive hopefully got a apir of mb6 brackets coming, worth getting heavy duty drop links ?
  4. Sold the crv tonight woop! Let the buying of bits begin lol Think ive already bought some rims , look gd, bit of a rub down and paint but do i paint the dish or leave it ??
  5. I was so suprized to see an old skool accord at the start of this thread! Boom i had a 89 manual, was great but getting parts was a pain! Civic's looking cool keep it dude Heres my old accord..
  6. Ah darn i thought it might be not the same, will looking for a vti going cheap and do as u said just use everything from that
  7. well i learned something new about m's lol thats a bit dissapointing really from honda considering how many gd handle model they have made, cool i shall make my own soon and use the mg zs bar with poly bush mounts
  8. Really!? that seems so odd to me, the holes are there but then it is a eco 1.5, hmm what about the brackets, worth getting some olds ones and making new ones from thicker steel (which i can do easily enough) to help stiffin it up a bit more ?
  9. Just had a look underneath my newly bought mb3 to check the rear antiroll bar setup and urrrmm am i wrong is it missing!? haha
  10. really gd read guys, im going for handling setup for mb3, the thoery sounds right to me, what about fitting poly bush anti roll bar mounts( i assume u can get them) ? would this affect the twist of the bar and cause the same affect of fitting a mb6 26mm bar ?
  11. Yeah tom check the civic projects page
  12. id like to drop a H22 in there and i know it can be done but its alot of work and they aint cheap to buy but i can buy a B18 & rebuild it cheaper i rekon! Just got to start looking for decent 2nd parts like exhuast and rims for it and im thinking ebay coilovers..
  13. oh really i didnt know that cheers dude, What about the wiring the loom would it be the same ?
  14. Wow trust tom to spot that haha amazballs! Oh so what is the 1.8 they put in there ? will do some research on that but would a b18 use the same wiring loom maybe ? I want to go all out on the handling on this one, want some wide road tearing wheels like 8.5j or 9j hmmm....
  15. Pics of Roxy, so far ive removed the sticker crap from the back window, freezed the hell out of everything, had to rub down the top of the dash sd they had black polished the whole dash and it reflects in the front window. Also jacked it up and had a look at the rear calipers, bled them both and the passenger works fine but the drivers side is still not working fully, i think the cables might be stretched. Got a wish list together, main things are wheels, lowerage and exhuast.
  16. Hey guys, i got a 1.5 mb3 sport, would a b18 drop straight in i.e drive shafts, connecting parts and wiring loom all fit ? Ive seen a accord going really cheap, could be a perfect donar..
  17. His texts were just as amusing too lol Ah so not to bad then, worth dropping in a b18 ? Was thinking of getting one and rebuilding it to get 200 out of it and drop it in, ive seen dead accord thats got a b18 going very cheap.
  18. Ive been back and forth trying to choose a new daily, looked at all sorts of things most of which costing me more than my current daily(crv), saw this pop on gumtree, despite the terrible description went to see and it wasnt to bad at all! So i thought why not, means big savings on everything and wont let me down! It is a 1.5 vtac, 2 onwers, 105k sport, runs smooth enough and drives gd enough and i got it for a tidy price, few body scratches and what not but it was cheap. So far as i can tell it only needs the rear caliper sorting out and they pretty much dont work and should have failed the MOT, needs new rubber but gd excuse to get new rimage sorted, new clutch and exhuast, now i know its a 1.5 vtac, im presumming its around 100bhp, ive had a 1.5 before it was ok, the vtac isnt as gd as a normally vtec ? I also going to guess a b18 will drop straight in and the wiring loom is the same ? Big question which 'M' is this one ? http://www.gumtree.com/p/honda/honda-civic-need-quick-saling-/1122822216
  19. well i wasnt overly keen on that ep2 1.6 alot of miles yet such a clean body hmm. BUT i have bought a little chem and its a m body civic...
  20. well it was nice, interior was mint, the rear discs were awful but still managed to get thru the MOT, i did a insurance quote and it went up quite a bit, proby due to the boy races ruining their rep and putting the group number up. Ive seen a 05 type s ep3, yes it is a girls 1.6 but it is vtec and honda, i just dont have the budget for a typr r right now for a daily, my new sofa is coming in 2 weeks so im a bit skint lol http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201506134282421?price-to=1500&radius=1500&price-from=1000&search-target=usedcars&sort=locasc&page=1&channel=cars&model=civic&make=honda&onesearchad=used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew&postcode=hp157aj&logcode=p Ive decided to try and weld a 1/2" 6mm socket to the plug on sat, i hop its enough and it might be possible to get a new one from the dealership..
  21. come on dude no way lol The o2 sensor came and of course it had to be the one on the cat, was quite tight but i muscled it off, had to disconnect the battery for the dash light to go. I made a key but didnt work, next step weld a bolt head or socket to the plug, got a weld at work will try to do it there! Well had a local guy call me about the crv and then never turned up! no text nutin! But i have a guy coming sat to see it, beening looking at seat ibiza 1.8t 20v's but there aint many about soo looking at a focus st170 tomorrow, yes i know its not honda but seriously what has happened to prices !? everything has doubled and vanishing!
  22. My jimny isnt doing so well, finally had it cheched, the dash light was what i thought the o2 sensor that was broke, had the transfer box oil level checked but the gearbox oil couldnt be checked as the fill plug was so tight the mechinic didnt want to risk breaking it, oh the oil leak has been from the gearbox drain plug which wasnt tight at all. On top i had to get replacment front seat belts as the dog had chewed them! i removed the rear ones while i was at it, soo just got to fit the exhuast mid pipe & rear box, fit the o2 sensor and make a key & attempt to undo the fill plug so i can put oil in the possibly already knackered gearbox as the gears whine. Oh get it MOT this month. GREAT
  23. meh lol i love the sound but im bored if it tbh, too many things to go through yet
  24. she passed! only needed a new rear light bulb and advisories were that the rear diop links were in poor condition! well happy! Dare i say ive seen a scooby wagon i like, had a the engine rebuilt a while ago and lots of other bits done too with receipts, ive always fanced one but they are all b****red lol
  25. hahahaha im p**sing my pants i forgot all about that one! mate those my bad boy days lol Well shes up for sale now, MOT is booked for wed, should pass just fine, just hope i find a decent civic after i sell her, theres not many 1.8 or typr r's floating about atm! Whilst changing the jimny's oil tonight i noticed a bit of oil around the gearbox and transfer box, getting levels checked tomorrow, its also been whiny in 5th gear hmm
