Its getting stranger, went to start her after work and she just turned over and struggled to kick over, on the 3rd attempt i gave it some gas & started. So filled the tank and put in redex..

So far over the last few days its been starting better, not great but better. Today i did a tiny bit of off roading and a knocking started, so i thought oh no not the exhuast! Turns out a peg right after the rear box was sticking out over the anti roll bar and i think it had hooked itself underneth. Cut just over an inch off and problem solved! Oh removed the rear wheel cover as i have noticing every crv owner has one on lol And i friend of mine needed another big car after her piece of sh*t citroen's front wheel ball joint snapped whilst driving! so i suggested a CRV and the next day she bought one lol

It started better this morning and i looked up starters last night, how do some people on ebay think that a used starter can be worth £100-150! When ive seen them new for £60!!

I think its the starter, i havent tested the amp output yet of the battery, it doesnt look that old and the volts was 12.5v this morning which is pretty gd! First thing i checked the water level and i have already topped it up. Hmm...

Right cleaned the all the earths, i only started it briefly to move it, did the contacts so an an hour later stated ger again and it seemed to struggle a little bit, will have to wait till tomorrow. I have to say the starter is is small! and looks quite old.

You would think that but after u have started it even for a few mins, it starts right up like it should, u can hear it struggling to turn it over like the pistons are stiff..

Oh i see why i didnt see it, the pic doesnt display on my screen. FAIL. Been having trouble with it starting in the cold, gave it a proper thrashing yesterday and actually its not bad on power but today it really struggled to turn over, really slow going over top dead center, i did test the alternator & thats fine. Tested the battery after 4 hours standing & that was fine but i think should check it after its been sitting all night. If the service place put in magatec oil could that be the problem ??? On another note, I need a multimeter(been using works), argos do a nice one on sale, they didnt have it 2 days ago but i checked again today & its in stock! So i went to the shop and the pc's are down so i cant check the stock, so i get in the long que, finally i get to the till and the girl says we dont have any!? the system is down. Like im meant to know that ? Total waste of time! grrr
