And he lived 2 hours away but as he travels he stopped off at the wyc m40 junction so cost me nothing fuel either lol They are bloody mint, started painting the letters white, its going to take bloody ages ive got more paint on my hands than on the tyre Oh and painted the spare wheel
-

-
A few pics to keep you guys going and me pooch!
-
it was but only for like 30secs lol It has started that fire again for the car, its been sat for far to long..
-
yeah i know ive seen that v10 sat in s13 tho it ended up in s14. I think i might cut to the chase and get a skyline, rb already
-
Your going to struggle blowing it up unless u rev its nuts off for about 6 months lol They are build quite strong but a blown engine is always the perfect excuse to drop a v10 in there!
-
dam i want a s2000! Looks gd dude ill be following this one
-
well some ppl on sxoc can be like alot other ppl on forums a bit of a know it all and everything u do is wrong & they are always right and then other ppl jump on their band wagon to rip u a new one. Most of the time its fairly gd, great for getting used upgrade parts. i managed to only spend about 600 on the engine rebuild which i did myself, quite straight forward after u get ur head around it, do u have any vvt tick yet ?
-
i get the feeling i have my old 25mm spacers somewhere, ill have a dig later. Yeah the colour is odd, 1 angle looks purple another angle looks blue but it is really nice. Fair enough on funds, mine was also a money pit, i think i put about 3k into it after 2 years lol My rear calipers were crap also but it is indeed a very common issue and i got mine refurbed never had a problem again. If u ever have a problem give me shout or as u do use sxoc.
-
Nice build, i would of gone for 25mm rear and 20mm spaces front and then no stud cutting lol mine had the apex 3" turbo back exhaust and i set of 78 car alarms! Yours sounds brill just right and the wheels are awesome! I think my old s14 was the same colour as yours, purple right ?

She lives!!! Finally got round to fitted the new modded downpipe, hook up the starter, i removed the plugs for easy turn to make sure there wasnt an issue with gapping on the starter seemed gd, put the plugs & leads on, dropped her down( looks like a gasser now lol) and gave her a go and she started right up for about 30secs!! yay well happy! Just got to jack her up again, heat wrap the mani & downpipe, do the gearbox sump and shes gd to go but could be some small issues when running dont know.
-
Oh dear well he said he was sending the right one which was also fitted to the rover 75. If its wrong again ill just right it off and order it from somewhere else. Brakes are great no issuse at all just these tie rods to get & fit!
-
Pipes been welded up, should get it test fitted this week and get the gearbox sump off as well
-
compensates for the massive rev counter haha More work done yesterday, tacked up the down pipe, also grinded back the mani flange. After the down pipe is welded i will heat & flattern the inside curve to free up some space!
-
needs a blower! lol
-
clearly not lol
-
A bit small but will do the job lol Been thinking again, its been done before & parts are ready available but what about a R33 with a LS2 V8 ?
-
Gps fitted, just got to sort the wire for it.
-
mate i need it to tell me what speed in going at all times! Cant put a analog speedo in it lol
-
yeah i know, well a package came today, it was the new tie rods but 1 was wrong, the right is the correct one, phoned them up and they sending a free replacement! They clearly dont look the same what a numb nuts they have working for them!
-
Gps speedo came today woop!
-
chopped the flange off and chopped up a 2" length, going to my mates house to pick up the welder tomorrow so i can tack it up and he will tig weld it at his work!
-
ok but i cant see the heads so hub off ?
-
Finally got round to gettting the new bits i need for her, id like to say i popped down to Real Steel in uxbridge but instead of taking an hour there & back its was 2 hours bloody traffic! Anyway got a master torque performance starter motor, 10 litres of gearbox oil as the gearbox sump has been leaking unoticed for awile so i need to put all new oil & fix the sump and i have ordered the GPS speedo too! Looks like a beast & fits but not with the downpipe fitted & its very close to the manifold too I rekon im going to have cut & weld a 2" straight bit from the mani flange to the bend, grind some clearence on the manifold and then heat wrap the lot so im not om the final straight yet!

Did my brakes earlier, didnt start out well, the passenger side which has the judder, the wheels nuts were loose and 1 of them got tight as i was undoing it and i thought oh dear this isnt gd, so decided to keep going its got to come off, yep it sheared off, bloody bodge garages wreck studs does my head in, so carried on and fitting the disc & pads. Noticed the tie rod has had it too. Test drive was good, i would think the studs are pressed in ?
