Picked her up today, even tho i phoned them mid week they still hadnt printed the invoice for the work done and hadnt sorted the handbrake which was too high soo i sorted the handbrake, i also couldnt find a aux point and after research you have to buy a kit which plugs into the cd changer socket that goes to a box, should work fine and i can use my ipod soon. Also found there wasnt a spare wheel! But a puncture repair kit, i know it saves a bit of weight but its so much better as you can use it over & over. I rekon i can get 500 miles to a tank too, just have to keep reminding myself its deisel! lol Had a go at a mock lowering with the wheels i want looks good!

I blame the mericans! lol Excited cant wait till tomorrow!!

The finish looks great but 19" look a bit too big dave but well done for perserving! Ive driven the accord im getting this weekend, nice handling and decent power and the toys worth it, just like me u will get over it being deisel!

Ive always been against deisel as its not a drivers engine even tho they have come a long way in terms of power & torque but i need something almost bullet proof with hd mpg. Picking it sat lunchtime should be gd, just dreading not finding a space to park it where im living in worcester, might have to park it in another street or ..... get a push bike...nooooooo! lol

Well after reading some forums, looks like the clutches are the weakest part of the accord so anything over 190 cuases real problems as it cant hack it but i have a new one fitted. People also said with an intercooler i can get 210ps+ but i should get a dyno map as the chip boxes just trick the ecu to put more fuel in and can cause damage after a while. Most said go to TDI north and i have heard of them too could be worth it if its done right.

Well Gel, my old boss has chipped all of his 6 audi's with really gd results, more power and better mpg in some cases and yes i am tempted indeed but research is needed on how long term for the engine, i know they are well built of course but if i chip it i could start getting turbo problems and then it gets expensive, i have driven it, its no slow poke but would be cool to chip it..

Been with General Accident for a couple of years now, when i switch from the 2.0 crv to the 1.5 civic sport it went up 60p! Not so bad, so as im getting the accord ill see what they quote, i noticed as i looked at my current details it said 1.8 ? so re entered the plate and it then said 1.5 and the result was £3 more a month... total fubar ? lol Did the accord & it went up a further £24 a month! What a load of crud, gd for a year but then leave! Rant & warning over lol

Its got shot loads of extra's too like auto tailgate button, cruise control, touch screen with sat nav, heated seats, 6 cd changer, loads of bits. Agreed on 3925 as he wouldnt come down on price coz of the work done but should be worth it! Only thing it doesnt have is rear parking sensors will have to research if u can install a bumper with them on??...

Picking this up next weekend, 07 Accord i-ctdi 2.2 desiel, new MOT, new timing chain, new clutch and a full service done, 1 owner from new! Got loads of goodies as its the excective model

Deffenitly a GTR nothing else will cut it, will look for something mildly modified with some power, proby like the s body's out theres alot been messed around with!

Disaster and victory today! Fella came to see it, hes got other hot rods and yank tanks and liked it! But when he asked me to start it the push button didnt work grrrr so i thought it was a wiring issue so after 45mins icouldnt get it to work but after i gave up i said it deffo runs trust me and he said OK i want to make u an offer with a deposit lol So i thought oh dear its going to be bad as it has no MOT or now doesnt run lol but nope he offered 5500 well happy with that Sods law as i was checking the wire route for the start button with a multimeter i realised it wasnt in netrual haha! What a spanner but i rang him he was fine with it! I rekon im gonna get a 2.2 tdi accord next as my mpg motorway mucnher

Had to get 2 new front tyres today as they said the tyre alignment would be wrong, had to chock the ramps up as the front bumper it the ramp haha, straight after i left i noticed the steering wheel was to the left! grrrr so i went and pick up my sister's corsa bits and took it back, when the he looked at the sheet it said accord ? why would it be different ? The camber isnt too bad, need to get camber adjusters but i think im not going to those dc2 ones...and look what strolled in while i was there

Fitted my Rear arb, had to bend the rear box hooks a bit so nothing knocks all gd, also fitted the new tie rods, getting tracking done today, hope theres not to many comments on how bad the camber/tyres are lol Weather permitting i will fit my mg zs front arb tomorrow!
