  2. Decided to scrap the custom wings for now, got some custom wide glass fibre arches coming next week! Also ordered my toyo tyres today, Should be drivable very soon! Modded the front grill a bit, also engine messing about has commenced!! first silly mod coming soon lol Been having thoughts of a crazy rear diffuser...

Update, after going down many routes, the last 10 years turbo's have moved on, a low mount turbo is not gd enough for 400+ so im going top mount turbo, big turbo rated over 500hp, been trying all sort of places/websites and speaking to jap garage owners to work out the best setup. I could go with a k27 borg warner, very very gd spool up, power and reliable too but the only T4 twin scroll manifolds i can find are 1k+ which is stupid! I could buy a rb26 and make it fit as 2 port bolt holes are different but lots of arsing about. So im going with the garrett route, not as good but alot cheaper and easier. Going to owen developments tomorrow hopefully leaving with a turbo & external wastegate, then i can order the rest of the bits. Ordered so far, just a turbo heat cover but soon alot more. Modded the baffle insert, from 1.5" to 2.5" for the track

The turbo got picked up monday, they were supposed to phone me but after 2 days i rang them, some other guy who had been ill was now dealing with it, said the housing has a crack in it, the actuator wasnt doing anything (boost could spike to silly psi ramdomly) and at some point foriegn matter went thru the blades. So its f**ked, gd as a door stop now lol When i phoned them i tried to sort another turbo out but somehow he was suggesting a turbo for a rb26, all rb26's are twin turbo, have a different flange and only rated for 320hp each max. I rang di racing and he thought it was well funny and stupid offering that turbo, hopefully he can sort me out today with the right new one! Manifold has been rewelded and will go on today, put new studs and oil cooler line fitting on last thursday so coming along!
  5. Sell it all and get on that street corner lol Removed the manifold studs today, always that 1 bolt that strips and is extra tight!
  6. Theres a real nice on with wheels and few bits going for around 3k on the fb page which is cheap!
  7. Took the turbo off yesterday, being collected monday for a rebuild at turbo dynamics. Took the manifold and there alot of cracks, my welder mate is gunna weld it up best he can and it will be alright for a while, might get stock one as they dont crack. Ordered some uprated mani studs £60, the flange bolt holes need re-tapping or drilling out.
  8. Took the front coilovers off and slotted the top hole for more camber adjustment on monday, now im sourcing some polyurenthene rod/bar to polybush all the suspension, should be good soon. I did see alot of civic's at japday on track, i know alot of cars particularly honda's have double wishbone suspension makes me think im doing up the wrong car for a track drive, once i get it on track ill find out how gd/bad it is and maybe sell and get something a bit more capable dunno have to wait and see!

Modded the ally tops of the rear coilovers for a better fit, also took off the front coilovers to take to work, going to slot out the bolt holes so i can have more cambers adjustment, just reading up on K11 front suspension conversion, means K11 hubs and brakes & anti roll bar, quite a bit of modifing needed but apprantly handles & brakes better. Im still tempted to mod the original and keep it K10. Some quick fitment pics, they dont poke as much as i thought, got the shapes of the wings in my head now, will try to borrow the plasma cutter soon

  11. Typical engineering place, they havent been done, the so the guy who picked up the phone had a bit of an attitude but said they will get done this week, was doing some hard design ideas in my head the other night kept me for ages lol
  12. Went for a drive earlier, had some chav in his 4dr bm try chasing me on a back road, first part is a straight and smoked him proper lol Found a nice spot for some pics

Tom you should see the numbers on the work done in the last 4 years, went to garage D when it came in to get the manual conversion and r33 gtr brembo brakes and about 4 other itrems....£3k and 3 massive sheets of work and parts done at richard racing the following year came too around £2k and theres more lol It what it is, apart from turbo, strut tops and coilovers, rust on boot lid & cracks everywhere in the bodykit its not too bad! Washed and waxed it eariler
  14. £££ Getting a bit expensive now lol need to get the strut tops done thats £400, cleaned the intlet pipes on wed & checked the turbo, bit of play on the rotor not gd, looking for a rebuild price but proby will be the same price as a new turbo so i can go a bit bigger around £800+ and now the rear sunroof seal has bits missing, super rare has to come from japan! Been getting flashes from other jap owners and loads of ppl looking at it while on the motorway and driving about love it!   15. Oh dropped my wheels into a company called Stemax in reading, small firm but they had rolls royce parts, ferrari head and various old car blocks and heads. Getting the centre bored out from 57mm to 59.1mm, id do it myself but my place doesnt have a big enough lathe to do it and all the mills are so busy.
