  1. Finished the first top, might need further design changes but looks gd so far, test fitting tomorrow!
  2. Here it is, i woke up last sunday still hanging from the night out to discover this beaut come on ebay and and spared no time going to see it monday morning! I only had about 35mins to see the car and get a test drive as the jimny buyers were collecting in the morning as well! Loved it from the get go and sent a deposit to him when i got back to seal the deal been gagging all week to get it and ending up getting a 3.5 hour train to get it, and to my huge delight he picked me up in his newly bought 650hp! R35 gtr and that went OMG! fast holy moly that was epic speed like he did 150 in what seemed like 1/4" of a mile!! lol! Imported 4 years ago, already modded was converted to mph and then went to Garage D to get a R33 manual coonversion done, 175k mix of miles & kmh?? I have to ring the importer to find out, Brembo R33 drilled brakes all round, 3" turbo back exhaust, big ally rad, hks intercooler, cant find the BOV, turbo & boost controller(sel A is 0.9psi & sel B is 1.3psi). Tein coilovers with damper control unit, skyline type wheels? Rear camera with screen display, also has sat nav, bluetooth, tv, card reader but the cd slot wont expect a cd! Defi guages with a control unit ? Gearbox & diff have shock proof oil in them so bit stiff when cold, momo steering wheel, duel sunroofs, dog guard(very please with this feature!). Oh with the 4wd fuse out dyno print out of 393bhp & 418bls of torque! He had 740 injectors fitted and remapped by pro tune who said it pulls like a train one of the best setups with a map hes seen! Always gd lol Plans: - bit of saving for a full respray next year - change the wheels - get a exhaust tip insert to try make a bit quieter - ordered new grill mesh - clean the engine bay - think a strong battery - get wind deflectors - a few bits What you guys rekon, she a keeper ??
  3. IF nothing goes wrong tomorrow all shall see
  4. It will be very soon! I want to get the body clay barred and polished first tho so shes mint
  5. Little bit more done today, got 1 block pretty much done and ive welded the other one up, did a trial fit on the done side looks alright.
  6. Bit more done, progress is a bit slow as ive been super busy over the last few days, just need to weld the other block and do the ally ring adapters and the rear will be done! Thanks dave! I learned to do it at college and ive only small bits here and there over the years but i got a gd mate who is a weld by trade so mostly i just get him to do it lol Gotta love the 80's marketing beats todays rubbish ads!
  7. cheers kink once i get the angle right and i do the wheel check but ill be running much wider rims later on so it might be a problem.
  8. Seeing this beast tomorrow, could be the one! and its in worcester where i worked last year lol http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152005146284?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  9. Blocks done, tacked the bush bracket up for a rough test fit, the bracket needs to be at a slight angle for smooth action, just the top rings to make and weld the bracket up Oh i need to do a wheel test fit too! Also my sisters corsa finally got taken away! and ive sold my missus jimny but not taken payment yet but soon!
  10. Again the welding was gd and bad, had to fiddle the settings again but done and painted, will filler it over and smooth it over like it was never there! Other side to do!
  11. More progress, painted the patches and started on blanking off the square holes behind the rear wheel.. Going into work early to make the rear coilover bits, getting excited!
  12. Welding done, proved quite differcult, quite alot holes when i did the big plate, came out really crapy but after some grinding its not to bad for my first body repair! Just need to clean it up and put down some anti rust paint
  13. Picked up a rental gas bottle and bought a regulator, so much better than disposible bottles! New 6" vice and 5 shelf rack
  14. Quite an apdate, glad the site is back up been gagging to post my progress lol Here they are, one set of coilovers, already started making the mods to fit them, front & back need adapter rings from spring to top mounts, making a block that will bolt in the slot for the rear bush as the old os 35mm wide and the new is 50mm wide. The fronts will also need a plate welded over the side holes as the bolt holes are closer together. A quick compassion to new oem shocks that will go on Unicron maybe tomorrow. Picked up a rental gas bottle and bought a regulator, so much better than disposible bottles!
  15. Nope its for my k10 and new rear shocks on the way for my missus k10
  16. Doesnt bounce fast enough for me and at its best its 1:30 lol
