I also have the MG suspension setup but not fitted it yet (missing the rear arb 'L' brackets) but have the springs & shocks complete. This time of year tho cant see me doing much (cold & wet) especially in South Wales! and with young baby really dont have the time to do it, but would love to get it done as I know people highly rate the improvements once fitted. Had an hour to myself this afternoon so managed to fit K&N panel filter, Iridium plugs and nice Blue 10mm Formula Power ignition leads. Hopefully these should see her running nice and smooth and a bit more efficient, especially with winter on its way. Keep you updated and will try to upload photo of the car.

Yeah I may be interested in the ones you have, if you could send me some more info then I can compare to the other one's I've seen. I've been having trouble deciding since my originals needs a refurb as my car is Cascade Green or 'mint' as it seems to be known on here, so trying to decide on wheel style & colour to suit the car. Hi there, sorry if this has been done 100's of times but was just wanting to know peoples opinions who have done this. I dont usually mess around with changing wheels but I've found a really nice looking set of 17" Honda alloys for sale which I think are really nice (think they're Prelude). Obviously I know that I'd need to get lower profile tyres and from what I've worked out 205-40-17 would be the closest match to my original 195-55-15 so not to upset speedo reading etc.... My car is a daily driver, commuting, family taxi most of the time. Would I have any problems fitting these in terms of being wider and lower profile? Just want to make sure that 205 section wouldnt cause any issues rubbing and that handling would still be compliant, obviously dont want any safety concerns with family on board. Hi there, I have a VTi Aerodeck and Im looking at getting my rear door side windows tinted to match the original factory tint on the tailgate & rear 1/4 windows. Dont want to chav it up much as its daily car for commuting & family, but would be nice to tint it for using baby seat, keep out the glare / heat etc... (and look a little better). Does anyone know what % shade was used from the factory so that I can get the tint correctly matched to look factory? Thanks, Dave

Hi, just wondered if anyone else has this? I've noticed that recently every time I unlock the car with the remote, the central locking seems to make a squealing noise / wailing cat? (hard to describe!) Seems to work fine and doesnt make noise when locking, just unlocking? Doesnt seem to effect its operation, just curious as to what the noise is, any ideas? Thanks, Dave

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah thats the thing, it still drives fine, clutch isnt slipping, does hill starts ok, its just the notchy changes now and again and changing down for junctions. It may well be just adjustment to start with but would imagine it's due soon due to mileage. Thanks

Thanks for the offer Rich, what sort of cost would it be? Yeah you are a fair drive but depending on fuel costs then maybe a day trip could be arranged sometime, also I'd prefer an enthusiast to do it for me than just a standard garage. Cheers, Dave

Hi, I'm new to this forum & Honda ownership in general. I have recently bought an Aerodeck VTi 1.8, its a nice car, totally original and unmolested, thats why I was attracted to it, however I think the clutch is on its way out. I bled the clutch fluid as it was quite dirty and seems to have helped a little, however its quite clunky and notchy engaging gears. It drives absolutely fine when its going but does crunch a little going into gear and is a very low biting point. I recently drove it up onto some ramps for some service items and could smell a bit of clutch, also stop start up a steep car park ramp could smell it, so considering its on 114k as well, and most probably the original clutch, think its time to change it. I was going to change the gearbox fluid anyway, but think clutch replacement is more likely sooner than later. Reverse can be graunchy also and cant select 1st when rolling until virtually at a standstill, which can cause problems at junctions etc... so I'd rather get it sorted than cause any more damage to the box but crunching the gears all the time. Most service & maintenance items I do myself but with a recent young baby I just dont have time to tackle bigger jobs like this. Are there any independent Honda specialists in South Wales? otherwise I will just price up some local garages from the good garage scheme. Thanks for any advice, Dave
