    yeh i did change the plugs last month but today i checked them and i think its fine will see what the mechanic says tomorrow

    ok i checked the rattle when on certain revs its the centre box so im not to worried about that now, any way to stop it moving around so much? and the ticking in the video, i checked everything to see if it was loose and nothing seemed out of the ordinary im starting to think that i might be something internal and if i cant diagnose something then ill probably take it to the garage..

    well i posted in the engine topic about my engine making a weird ticking/rattling noise while idling, biting point and low revs in 2nd gear. well heres a video of the sound and i zoom in to where i think its coming from but not sure, i hope its not serious

    recently my car has started rattling, when i have it on biting point in 1st and low revs in 2nd gear, im sure its not the exhaust as today after i had driven the car fully warmed up i opened the bonnet and listen to it idle and there as a moderetley loud rattling noise coming from the engine but im not sure what it is sounded like it was coming from a part near the throttle body but not too sure, can someone help me out here?

    very nice mb! i have a silver one as well check out my thread, cant wait till u get those meisters in will make a huge difference! but one thing if i were you i would take out the bit in your post asking if anyone has a vtis lip as newbies arent allowed to advertise if they want something thats why you cant see the for sale/wanted section. the rules are strict i know but its for a reason

    done a lot of photo whoring these past 2 days and these are the results, found a cool bit of mirrored glass at the mistibushi garage down the road from me: then today i had a proper minting session then thought why have a small number plate when you can have none! fixed my bung re did the carbon wrap and made it look circular also found these lurking in the garage the aston was 49k! and the mk2 escort is the owners, ferrari dunno which model it is, ford focus rally car and dont know what the other car at the back is anyone tell me?

    yes very good result! cheers for the advice michael paul ill keep an eye out on your project how much were yours? i think mentioning ebay scared him into offering me a refund, cant wait to get my refund as there is so much things i want to buy!

    yes i bought them from ebay, the sellers name is automotive_jandj and it says they are for honda civic saloon 1996-2000, so if yours fit could you possibly send me the link? as i have now convinced him to let me send them back for a full refund with a bit of persuation of telling him i will open up a case with him about it

    i had the same problem and it was just the battery needing replacing in the remote unit, if its the standard remote unit it takes 2 CR2032 batteries and it simply pops open by prying the edges open

    I paid 35 delivered and I bought them for Honda civic thinking they were the right ones now he's saying It will be too costly to return them and I should sell the wrong set on eBay and buy the correct set for 18 delivered

    i still cant believe you did all that at 17 very impressive! how did you learn all that? suppose you have to start somewhere, im 19 and im just starting to get lots of knowledge under my belt and its all thanks to everyone on here! thats a shame you've decided to sell but hopefully you will stay on the forum and maybe go back to an 'm' someday?

    well i got a response from the seller of my wind deflectors and he said i had bought the 4 door saloon ones?!? and he said to save money on postage that i should just keep the wrong ones that i bought and pay him 18 quid delivered to get the correct ones. does this sound dodgey to you guys? i just asked if i could send them back for a full refund.

    yeh i recon they are the wrong ones so hope i can return them and get the right ones i was going to go for plain red but prefer the marble the look so much more

    yep just messaged them saying they dont fit and i confirmed i have a 5 door hatchback and im waiting for a response, im so gutted i was looking forward to deflecting wind
