    Coilovers

I would never by coilovers without damping adjustment again, I bought some for my old audi, dropped it on the deck and ride was so bouncy and soft it was awful
  7. Nice build mate, just had to laugh to myself was looking at my car tonight thinking, its looking just right, sitting nice and level then just read this and remembered just filled up and got another alloy in the boot as well as my spare...damn! Have to get the c spanner out after all, im like you hate it if not sitting right
  8. Man im so jealous of your turbo! You made it sound so easy to install as well, really would like one but sure someone said would cost a couple of grand to sort, just too much for me to spend on a cheap car! Love the exhaust , ok for mot? Well done mate , got that sorted quick time
  9. So no massive updates apart from some new lugs, this time longer ones and not alloy but nice strong steel...good price £37 Was going to lower it a bit more but did some gtf measurements, and all nice and level, so think ill leave it as a mission to get all level. Did decide to adjust damping though as front seemed really soft, after a couple of road tests settled on rear 2 clicks away from hardest setting and fronts 15 clicks so about medium (30 click adjustment) Drives much better, much more stable around corners and nice and firm at the back.
  10. Cheers nik not bad, still bit of iron/tar deposits though, so give them another go tomorrow with the dodo and some tar remover
  11. Haha mines used to it Tom been coming to work with me since 8 weeks, he loves that car, I cant get him out of it sometimes!
  12. Always preferred older cars, my first car was a 1967 mg, followed by loads of mk1 and mk2 escorts. Older cars have more character, my mb, you open the bonnet and you know exactly what everything is, my mrs audi sportback, just a big lump of plastic, lovely to drive but boring, intercooler hose blew off the other day... Tried locating it, need to remove bumper before you can even see it Im very much a 90's car man now and in the 90s i was very much a 80's car man (still would be but because of the bloody scrappage scheme mad everything so rare and unobtainable)
  13. Was only a matter of time...
  14. Notice the added extras?! Got some new centre caps being custom made
  15. Cheers lads! Few more shots, think the offset quite good, ,kumhos are excellent, so much quieter than the nankangs on the motorway, car seems to drive much better on 15's. Done a quick clean with dodo juice but rain stopped play
  16. Cheers mate just ordered some new tuner nuts as well, old ones a bit lost in the middle!
  17. Cheers, will do mate, dechroming this weekend and more lowering, and dodo juice tonight!
  18. New wheels fitted, will post some better pics once cleaned with this... Drives so much better on the 50 profile tyres and also its dropped about another inch
