  1. This reg should suffice, ride height looks a little lower which is fine
  2. Thanks for the reply bud, the only other difference I could find is the MB6 back box was slightly heavier, makes sense! Is the 120 suspension more suitable because of the weight of the 180 engine?
  3. I work for a parts supplier, If I enter a registration number for an MG ZS 180 and buy myself shock absorbers, top mounts and coil springs will it all slot nicely onto my MB3? Do I need anything else? Also wondering if there's any difference between the standard back box for MB3 and MB6
  4. My '00 D15Z8 currently has a scabby engine cover, rather than just take it off and spruce it up, I'm watching a mint looking cover from a '98 D15Z3 engine. Will it be a straight fit?

  6. To be honest I've seen worse! Rear lights and interior let it down but on the whole it looks pretty swish

I'll keep my eye out for those thanks guys I'd love to lose a good 30-40mm of archgap but I dont want it to be bouncy, Not sure if these would be any good? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spax-SSX-Lowering-Spring-Kit-Honda-Civic-95-01-2001-1-8-VTI-VTEC-MB-/190840183297?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c6ef61a01

Sorry to sound like a broken record but civics are new to me, what spring+shock kit/coilovers would you recommend? Honda or rover parts- whatever fits an MB3. Budget is under £150 Thanks all!

Just as a quick note, double check price and availability on 195/50R16 as it is a very uncommon size, 205/45 may very well be your best bet Dave
  13. Just a little something I discovered today for any mechanics on the forum (or anyone who cares) If you're doing a front CV boot on an Audi A4 (1995-2001) you DO NOT NEED to take the bottom or top ball joints off, simply grab someone who is free and ask them to jump in and turn the steering wheel as far as possible to the right or the left (depending on which side you are doing). Once the hub nut is off, with some wiggling the driveshaft will pop out. Repeat process to relocate the shaft. Hope this saves someone a headache
