Nice work!

I got a complete central heating system being installed soon, as currently no gas in the property, so when that all gets under way I might see if they can put me an outside tap in then!

Haha!!! Yeah it is well overdue a good clean... too much faffing doing it at home with no outside tap though so once it’s on the road I’ll give I a good spruce up at work!!

Has anyone had a website warning when coming in today?? Something about an expired certificate, and an impersonator May be trying to steal my details??? Lol

I always go for the impact driver, it's a legitimate use of a hammer
School boy error though, I don't trust those scissor jacks at all and tend to use my trolley jack as much as possible with axle stands.
I know Krzys, I completely hold my hands up to it... I should know better, I’m a mechanic for god sake! Lol... up on stands now though and hopefully finish off tonight, with an impact driver and sledge hammer!!!

Yeah I was doing it on my stone driveway so not a good idea to do it whilst on the jack... lucky I used the sill and I weren’t inside the arch when it came down!
yeah that’s the right thing to use, I just didn’t think i’d need it as those screws aren’t usually that damn tight!!... I forgot that I haven’t had the discs off yet so I should have expected it lol !!
-
Went to do my rear brakes this eve... went from bad to worse!!
first I realised not to underestimate the importance of axle stands.. my own stupid fault...
No damage done luckily... then once I got it back in the air, the tip of my screw driver snapped off whilst trying to undo the holding screws on one of the discs!!
Another go tomorrow with sturdier tools it is!!! Lol

Haha!!!! I didn’t look at the background car!! What a lemon!!

I know exactly what you mean mate... due to our house project the poor deck hasn’t been touched for about 6 months and been off the road for about 2-3 years
-
News flash... I’ve just discovered the H-Tune website!!! Being up all night scrolling through their endless list of parts has given me a wish list totalling about £3800!!!

Ah right, to be fair you have to think how the suspension will react when the cars weight isn’t on them... I.e over bumps or slights crests in the road... if all of a sudden your springs become unseated at 50 odd mph probs not going to end well lol... however there are options with the stock springs n shocks though to lower it to a degree... should be stuff located in how to section bud
