well lads just a general warning to all you civic heads about ebay member toyosports is his user name ordered a full exhaust system from him over 2 weeks ago for my civic said on the add -3 working days express delivery so i allowed a week emailed him asking what the story was with it no reply so i emailed him today nearly another week later still no sign threatening him if i didnt get it i was reporting him to ebay and shaming his company across the net so he has refunded the money in full just awaiting it to go through but that still leaves me without an exhaust and very nervous about buying stuff off the net now lost all confidence

well I lived in Windsor all my life up till 5 years ago and iam fairly sure they can cease the car and crush it straight away its supposed to be taxed or sorn off the rd have to notify dvla it was 1000 pounds fine no points I don't think its 6 points for no insurance and 400 fine for no mot

oh just follow indicator wires to where alarm is spliced in and rewire them into the lights could I just wire it to the headlight switch wiring would that work

right lads just wondering if any one has an alarm that has the headlights/ rear lights flash when the alarm is armed and disarmed just seen a friend of mine having it done on his bzr Levin and it looks awesome thinking of doing the same but iam afraid I make s**t of the alarm if it was a simple job id give it a go

I had this problem with Toyota irl mate no one would help me with advice only giving out to me saying that I was blocking threads with my spam and my long posts when I was trying to give people mechanical advice being a mechanic my self all I got was dogs abuse cant do no right from wrong then they gave me a warning because I posted an add I had on done deal to the site rather than telling me it was wrong they gave me a warning and all ganged up on me making me out to be a bad person there no need for that s**t at end of the day its ment to be a car forum there to help people and be friendly not cus people and make out that iam better than u because I been on the site longer children was all they were i never in my life met a bunch of w****s put u off forums for life but this forum i must say is the most user friendly sound bunch ive ever had the pleasure to deal with had few friends complain about forums

cheers lads nick I was thinking that only problem is that iam in republic of Ireland and there is no one around that does custom exhausts nearest is about 4 hours drive id say when you say lengthen the exhaust spudley and reposition the hangers was that a cut and reweld job shame mongoose don't do them no more:(

right lads looked at my civic today to check it over for the test and the exhaust is main problem there hole in center pipe but id say she had a custom rear box fitted and they lashed it on its hitting the car and everything think my best option is to bin it rather than messing with it was looking at the systems on ebay but not sure what make they are what sort of a fit they are on the car does any one have number of company that they got theres cheap from looked at mongoose they stopped doing them for the mb6 so its either ebay or fork out a bit for custom system

oh it will nick the smile it puts on my face is priceless not many cars make me smile this one is special once I do the small bits it all be worth while in the end just a shame bits for them are scarce over here

oh it is tom but I only got it for 750 euro which is about 500 pounds there making anything from as low as 1500 and as high as 2500 for a clean one only good thing is there so expensive because there so rare and everyone wants one mine was a uk car that was imported as are most of mb6 over hear only a hand full id say if you were to import one from uk over to hear the duty to change the reg to iris one is 1000 euro that's why there few about

tom id be telling you a lie I could tell u some stories about it when I brought it she cut the wires for the airbag and removed the squib also removed all wiring for horn buttons on oem steering wheel that was missing the back part too she had air horn wired up through the fuse box she had taky stickers all over the car and silly little blue lights on the front grille she super glues a red Honda badge to the original one in front grille so I went to work sorting the air bag and steering wheel have that all done filled the small hole in the rear quarter ripped out all wiring for air horns it makes me wonder why people do stuff like that they haven't a clue

just wondering does any one else have problem with a wobbley stick when my car is in 1st you can move the lever side to side like stiring porridge is there some sort of repair to fix this problem or mabey even a lever from a different Honda that will be same as quickshift shorter throws for gears ect or are they all like it

I do like coil overs only there so expensive whats the story with the mg suspension set up do the springs and shocks fit straight on

do the dc2 come with cone filter inclosed in the air box its self think ill go down this route as the garda or police if you will like opening bonnets over here checking to say have you been playing under the bonnet I was going to delclare the mods but I was afraid they oink it way up

will that fit straight on love the sound of the vtec too will i lose that then i suppose a panell filter in the teg air box

cheers lads see problem i have is i not into lowered cars i preffer power and comfort thats why i want to keep stock oem suspension if i can do the integra exhaust mani make much of a differencepower wise

well lads iam having a bit of a dielema with my civic mb6 the woman I brought it off has fitted a induction kit but just the cone filter no brackets or anything just resting on the gearbox like a spare part its got a few holes in it and looks tired now problem I have is I was thinking that its sucking in hot air I was thinking of going down the civic type r airfilter route as they have standard air box with a green cotton induction kit that slots into it ive told my insurance car is standard as I didn't want them to ride me sore what is my best option iam a fan of a tidy engine bay don't like it looking tacky she has cut the air con pipes going into the dash and removed the ac pump and condenser I was thinking about refitting them as it was fitted to the car like stuff like that to be working but if I have to remove the dash to replace the matrix I wont be sourced a oem center exhaust pipe new 100 euro get me out of a hole for time being

are the areo deck same length as the hatch mb or are they longer mate

hi guys just brought a mb6 for little money needs work to be ready for road needs center exhaust and standard springs shocks few people were telling me that the integra exhaust will bolt straight on no modding required as will all the suspension just wondering if any one has an intergra exhaust on their mb6 if so what modding did you have to do to fit does the tegra inlet manifold fit also they said that makes a big di fference to when the vetec come in harder gives it bit more power too
