  1. Day 10..... wheels fitted, pictures will follow when I am in an area that does not look third world, I now discover I have a squeak from the rear when jacking up/down the beast, I can rotate the rear wheels with the wheels on, I think that's an issue, I had the brakes done last month all round, just the pads and the rear bushings, the geezer I asked about changing the disks said they are fine and should be good until the pads wear out again only now I have some severe tracks in my front disks and awful squeaking when braking, I figure that this must be due to the fact that they did not copper grease the backs of the pads or any of the sliders, this has put a dampener on another class day for washing the car, do I A: go back to the National Tyre Centre and complain like a wounded animal, grovelling and snivelling or do I man the f**k up and take a chunk out of the kn*b rot mechanic? Or is it my fault? did i do something i am, as yet, unaware of that could have prevented this travesty? answers on a postcard........
  2. yeah, back to black is getting bloody expensive though, specially in this weather, i have yet to get through a day when it doesn't drizzle, one of my favourite things, B2B, roll on the summer, possible snow according to the always accurate Daily Mail this weekend..
  3. Cracking stuff, last time i did my wheels i used vht black so it was easy enough, gunmetal in vht? Or enamel those hush puppies?
  4. Now, since they are spanking do i do the decent thing and have them black? I like black cause its easier to keep clean or not see brake dust..
  5. trying to fill the arches, no but they are mahoosive, i just got them so when i figure out how much i want to spend on lowering the rest goes on tyres then fixing the straw like zorst.

  7. the nuts only cost £2 each, got no spigot rings either so gonna source those, also need some flat centre caps as these are a bit showy i think...
  8. they are not on the car yet, i had to source some lug nuts from a local alloy dealer, they are really thin, question.... how secure are they? i mean in terms of theft?

  13. Day 9 Things have moved so quickly I canny keep up captain! Still much to do, today I go to pick up wheels..... it is unclear as to the actual fitment but they are multifit 4 stud so I figure they will..... pictures will follow after I make the longest trip ever....

  15. How very dare you Sir! We people of the West Midlands would never dream of smashing all your windows and taking a crap on your seats just to steal a device you have slaved to install! Besides, i doubt we'd even know what it was, been using lanterns on sticks for head lights till recently. Outraged!

  23. Morning! Day 8 my dizzy arrived today! question, I have yet to remove the old one but the new one, well you know the bit that goes onto the block, is that supposed to have a small amount of play? Also how in gods name do you get the main multi wired plug out? Jesus she's tight.
  24. oooooooooo, the minimalist look for the dash is Great! This would be a fairly cheap but labour intensive job I think, can we get a 'how to' on this?
