  1. @UnicyclingTom how did I know you'd lower the tone haha Then you'll be fie Grant they're not bad in the wet as long as you're sensible ish lol
  2. @Grant the T1-R's aren't too bad until they're low tread I've found, I had them on my old Celica GT which used to get chucked around a lot The only things I'll say about the T1-R's are that they're very very soft so on a fairly heavy car they'll wear too quickly but more concerningly when they get to about 3mm change them as they become genuinely terrifying in the wet
  3. Bit of a bump here but if you're after a decent tyre for in the damp as well as the dry then I'd look into Uniroyal Rainsport 3's, Camskill do them for about 35 quid a corner in a 195-50-15 and they're brilliant in the wet A friend of mine has a particularly tail happy MX-5 and since he's put the RS3's on the car sticks like s**t to a blanket
  4. Lovely looking car, I'm not keen on the fly eyes on the rear lights I can't help but think it looks a bit chavvy Only my opinion though as long as you like it then it's fine What's next ?
  5. This car looks amazing, I've not read the whole thread yet though although it does looks fantastic, I love the retrim with the seats particularly, and the amount of gauges as well If you don't mind me asking what size are the tyres on the alloys please? I've seen they're 17's and they look perfect how they're sat, I've been thinking about some Black Pro Race 1.2s for my Sicilian Red MB3 and if I can get it looking anywhere near a quarter as nice as yours sit's I'll be very happy Thanks in advance and I apologise for the noob question
  6. Very nice looking car bud As for alloys I'd be looking at a set of something like I think they're Jordans? They look like the Accord Type R alloys only smaller and 4 x 100
  7. I'm new here so I hope you don't mind me saying so but I completely agree about the grief I used to give Honda's, I used to be a Toyota nut, 3 Celica GT's and an MR2 so far, I went VAG group with a Leon Cupra 180 and although it was a blast in a straight line and good for overtaking it was completely soulless to drive I've got a MB3 recently and although obviously it's not quick it's got a bit of character to it, It's on the OEM 14's but it's fun to throw it at corners as it gives you the confidence to chuck it about unlike most Euroboxes on the road I like Honda's now I want a VTI though although the VTi-S is an awesome bit of kit too
