  1. Dude!!! That is some serious work gone and going into that! V NICE!
  2. Yup, had this too. Cleaned it down and rust treated it with crust then primed and painted with Touch up. Not perfect but hopefully it stopped serious rot.
  3. Cool, thnaks for the info. Learn a little every day! I'm an MC!!!
  4. Cool, thats what I was thinking. I took the rails off mine and stripped and polished them when the coating started to lift. MB6 in question is a hatch then not a Deck? Me new so still learning the codes...
  5. If matching the door cards is a concern, I stripped the patterned cloth off mine and blacked the panel out as they had got a bit loose in places. You'd never know they originally had cloth on them.
  6. gear consul surround etc.
  7. Excuse the mess in the footwell.... working vehicle and all that
  8. I'd give it a go with the Carbon Wrap as a first stop as already suggested. I did the interior trim, dash, gear console surround etc in my VTI Aerodeck, it was looking a bit scrappy and tired. The carbon wrap was about £5 a sheet on fleabay, took a couple of hrs and a hair dryer but looks great IMHO. I ended up wrapping a few other bits that were worn / scratched. Hear what you are saying ref removing the trim but I did it in situ approx 2 years back and it has been fine, no peely edges etc. I'll dig out a pic or 2.
