Snapped strut bar thread

So guys/girls, decided to spray my strut bar today and when I went to put it back on I overtightened one of the bolts and pop, snapped the stud straight off. Is it possible for me to remove the remaining bit of the stud and put a new one in? I think I read they are welded in? And is it dangerous by any chance? It's still held in by 3 bolts.

Not dangerous.

they are welded in. But You could drill through and use a nut and bolt instead.

Doubt it dude. I was driving my deck for few weeks without bar on at all and didnt notice it. Still a boat!

As Jake has said.. Not dangerous and wont notice it mate .. 

 

Only when you put a 3 point do you notice a significant increase in rigidity !
