Great youtube channel! The Mini build is dragging on though :(

Yeah, may as well get the remap done as was going to do it anyway, just meant half throttle all the way home :(

I'm only on part 4 of the build so far!

I bet you can't wait to experience it full pelt once the clutch is fitted and bedded in!

Finally got car back today after getting clutch, flywheel and a recall done. Got to do 500 miles to bed the clutch in tho :(

Went with a CG motorsport dual friction clutch which can handle the remapped power. Flywheel was shot as well but thank god I'm in the motor trade as wasn't paying Hondas £800 for flywheel. Payed £360 instead for an LUK one.

Gearbox oil changed as well. Clutch pedal feels like my old civic so well happy. Not much pedal play and nice feel.

Cheers mate, aftermarket grille for the facelift accord is bad. Went with a safe bet as it keeps it kinda stylish!

What you lol'ing at! Have you checked your number plate bulbs colour yet? ;)

I seem to attract the police so thought best change them

In mine, the Police will just think some old duffer bought the wrong bulbs!

Like the grille.. Good change of look :)

Had to swap all the interior bulbs for leds in the tourer as well.. Freshens it up a treat coz there's so many, and the sad yellow looked tired.

I'm not surprised the flywheel was shagged too! But at least it's done now and not something you'll have to worry about! Grill looks much better than the grandad spec! 8-)

Well Wednesday was fun :(

Steering felt 'notchy' and then a Complete failure of power power steering. Popped bonnet and fluid spraying everywhere. Family in the car and everything. Could have killed them had it been a fast corner and suddenly no assisted steering.

I phoned Western Honda and simply asked the question if any pipes had been removed when clutch was done. They said no. I explained that I wasn't blaming them, simply asking for some direction on where to look for leak at the side of road.

Took it to my mates garage as Honda was too far to travel with heavy heavy steering. Turns out the power steering hose bracket had been bent into the v-belt. V-belt chewed through the pipe and voila.....pishing.

Western Honda will be contacted on Tuesday :(

My luck is just not there wih cars. Always gotta go the hard way with things.
