B18C4 replacement injectors

Hi guys

 

I've been cleaning up the injectors in my MB6 B18C4 and I've noticed that the orange plasticy tip bits are slightly cracked and worn looking so I'm looking to replace them as a set as I think this is the main reason I'm getting a ticking sound from the intake side.

 

What would be the best to replace them with or should I just get original ones again? I'm really looking to get bigger cc injectors though is this possible and if so what do you guys usually go for?

 

If I get bigger cc injectors do i have to do anything else to compensate or will it even make a difference?

Injectors are very important to correct running of the engine. Not just cc but timings and latency. So any injectors other than standard would need mapping.

I would seriously consider the injector refurbishment route. I cannot see any benefit to running aftermarket injectors unless you are running big power.
