weetec Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 hello guys, just thought id drop some feedback on my K&Nfilter iv had for approx 4000 miles. i noticed the throttle was a bit jammy recently when pressing the accelerator. it was not the cable so i investigated the throttle body. it turned out to be the butterfly.yep...the goldie looking thing was full of muc and was sticking when operated manually. i presume its the oil off the filter,or the k&N letting more air through hence more dirt/bad fumes etc clogging up the butterfly...i just cleaned the filter,re-oiled it and cleaned the throttle.....give it time and see what happens. any 1 had similar problems.?
