Rich.cheers mate i bought a saloon a few years back with a broken pully bolt wot a nightmare the compressor iv got couldnt blow a candle out i think max pressure is 110 psi . james Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 what you need is axel stand or something the same hight 2/3 long extensionslong braker barpipe to fit over braker bara friendget a big braker bar put a pipe over if, put you socket on the bolt attach extensions rest them on axel stand or similar attach braker bar/pipe have your friend sit in the car put it in fifth gear press the brake then loosen the bolt, it will take some force getting it loose dont worry its torques to 170nm + rust + how long it has been on therere torque the bolt to the manufacturers recommendations Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
