knight
Right bonded it back on, and is back to being air tight! so installed it back on the car with all new silicone vaccum hose! went for a spin and its all working but seems down on power (i think!) the unit might be f**ked??? , so time to get her on the dyno again and see if everthings ok! We will see,,,
civicturbo79
I would get a new unit first well a second hand one anyway . Rich.

Rich.X2 mate, if the outer unit is knackered and you've resealed it, there's no way to see what is b****red internally on it.Vaccum's are funny things, tiniest air leak internally and you'll loose pressure.Get Josh's or Jonny is breaking a motor too! Also could be a good time to see on a dyno how they perform with the VTEC point slightly raised and IAB's bypassed

King
My butterflies from the intake mani have been removed, which i think disables the two stage vtec? So at 4-4500 rpm vtec kicks in hard lol, havent lost any low down torque and the ecconomys still good lol
