Sega Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 Ive got a Black Widow slingshot that should deal with them silently and cheaply Its shiny in most places but to really cure it all it would be a full re-spray and thats proberley going to cost more than what the Cars currently worth, although a fast solution would be to replace the bonnet as thats currently the worst area. b18beans Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 lovin it! this is my 2nd mb6vti-s, missed the first one so got another.went thru a celica, escort, citroen and a mk1 golf in the year in between an none of them came close to replacin ma civic.this one i like even more than ma 1st, looks better, sounds better, handles way better, goes faster, less rust (more dings, an more miles, but hey-ho). it definitely needs a turbo tho, m3's and vxr's are well overdue a good kickin! sonic_vi Posted September 16, 2009 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Love !She's gorgeous - bit miffed at having to lay out over £200 on servicing this month though cambelt, gearbox oil, plugs, engine oil (only use magnatec), oil filter.Luckily I already have the kit for cleaning my AEM Short RAM so thats an air filter i don't need to buy lol. Also need to fix my passenger window and my bloody heater fan has stopped working on speeds 1 & 2 again but thats probably down to my half arsed attempt to fix it last time - i was ill and no with it - that soldering left a LOT to be desired on the plus side though my Eibach 40mm's are finally going on having had them sat under the stairs for 9 months !!!!! The best thing to sum up my car was yesterday i was overtaking a horsebox in so i sat on about 5k revs just before the butterfly valves open and VTEC is fully unleashed, pulled out, this old guy flashed his lights thinking that idiot in the 1.4 isn't going to get past in time then VTEC!!!!! roared past the horse box with a good 6 metre gap between me and the old duffer pulled onto my side of the road and he waved appologetically haha!
