I just found out that both Koni Sport and STR.T dont fit 1.8 mb6 :(. On there website and at other places they tell you that the kit is for cars excluding 1.8. Its the same problem I mentioned above something to do with springs at front. They sell shocks as separate for 1.8 but no springs.

Anyone got any other suggestions for suspension kits or coilovers?

The Koni shocks for the Mb6 are a different part number due to the slightly heavier engine I think. You're right I cant see springs listed on this table; maybe thats why some people have been having problems with the front end.

Try Eibach maybe?

Yup that's what I mean. I have already checked koni website and I also had someone from parts company ring them up to ask and they said they don't supply the springs for 1.8.

I was thinking about Eibach springs but they only sell springs upto 30mm for mb6 :S

Just get the MGZS stuff mate, goes straight on no probs, and only about £100. ;)

Oh, and you can use the springs you already have.

I haven't actually seen MGZS stuff being sold anywhere. I can't use the springs I got right now because the whole kit is a mess haha I really need new springs as well as shocks.

Has anyone tried any good coilover kits for mb6 for under £500? Thinking might save up for that.

Try CW vehicle dismantlers on ebay: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/cwvehicledismantlers or Parts Gateway for mgzs stuff. cw have front set for £45 and rears for £28 at the moment.

Seriously you won't get a better upgrade for £75. 8-)

If you want to drop it further then the eibach springs do the job, mine is down 55mm over standard and I am mega :D with it.

Are mgzs direct fit to mb6? Thing with eibach springs is they only lower by 30mm on mb6 :(
