BIG flat spot/missing

OK, So i have a '99 MB3 1.5 Vtec when pulling away/accelerating hard in 1st/2nd gear it's almost as if i have no power up till 4k rpm then ill get a burst then nothing then another burst.

Its not Vtec kicking in its as if it sometimes dosent work at all its weird to try and explain!!!! :?:?

some times its fine sometimes its crap!!! :evil: any ideas???? :idea::idea::idea:

ahh ok,

what low circuit wires?? im not too hot at 'lectrics unless its audio!!

you need a volt meter ect :shock: continuty test ect low tension are the small wires to dizzy ;)

get a wiring diag would help,need to be tested for correct voltages/ohmms resistance ect.

Well after messing with spark plugs and ht leads, I took the old girl for a spin but tge problem was still apparent, I headed off to see my mechanic freinds at knight racer ( jap specialist) they suggested an oil change

So went and got some oil and filter ect drained all the old oil out NOT A LOT IN THERE! and why is the oil filter in such a tight space?!

Anyways I'm off for a run and hopefully will return with good news!

Well after messing with spark plugs and ht leads, I took the old girl for a spin but tge problem was still apparent, I headed off to see my mechanic freinds at knight racer ( jap specialist) they suggested an oil change

So went and got some oil and filter ect drained all the old oil out NOT A LOT IN THERE! and why is the oil filter in such a tight space?!

Anyways I'm off for a run and hopefully will return with good news!

Yeah tell me about it! The stuff that cam out was aweful, I knew it needed doing! And its seems a lot better and far more responsive!
