woody23 Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 OK, So i have a '99 MB3 1.5 Vtec when pulling away/accelerating hard in 1st/2nd gear it's almost as if i have no power up till 4k rpm then ill get a burst then nothing then another burst.Its not Vtec kicking in its as if it sometimes dosent work at all its weird to try and explain!!!! some times its fine sometimes its crap!!! any ideas???? woody23 Posted January 23, 2012 Author Share Posted January 23, 2012 Well after messing with spark plugs and ht leads, I took the old girl for a spin but tge problem was still apparent, I headed off to see my mechanic freinds at knight racer ( jap specialist) they suggested an oil changeSo went and got some oil and filter ect drained all the old oil out NOT A LOT IN THERE! and why is the oil filter in such a tight space?!Anyways I'm off for a run and hopefully will return with good news!
